October Favourite’s 2018

Time for another monthly favourites video. This months favourite’s are very autumnal and halloween oriantated. Also check out my youtube channel HannahxoxoBlog. I hope you enjoy!

Pull & Bear Fluffy Cardigan:                                                                                                     As the weather has been getting colder I have been loving this fluffy cardigan from pull and bear. It’s so super cosy and warm and goes with pretty much every outfit. I first saw this when BusyBeeCarys shared it in a haul and I fell in love with it straight away. Obviously I would 100% recommend it as well!

New Look:                                                                                                                                        I have recently done an Autumn Haul featuring quite a few things from New Look. Since then I have gone back into New Look and bought a few more pieces. I love there current Autumn clothing and is totally on trend at the moment. If you haven’t checkered out there Autumn clothing I would definitely recommend too!

Gordon’s Pink Gin:                                                                                                                   This month I have been loving pink gin. Normally my go to drink is vodka and orange juice but this month I have been loving pink gin and lemonade. It’s quite a sweet drink and tastes like juice. It can be quite dangerous, I warn you now. As you just drink it like juice and you don’t realise how drunk your getting till it hits you. Obviously I would only recommend this to 18 years and above.

Scaresvillle:                                                                                                                                  As October is the month of Halloween I have been doing a few halloweeny things like Scaresville. If you haven’t heard of Scaresville before it’s where you walk through different rooms, going inside and outside while actors jump out on you. This would be the third year I’ve been to Scaresville and I really enjoy it. They do change it slightly every year as well. I think its such a great night and I would highly recommend to do it if you are close by.

Zombie Fest:                                                                                                                          Another halloweeny thing I have down in October is Zombie Fest. Again if you don’t know what Zombie Fest is it’s a music festival. I haven’t been before but I really enjoyed myself and would 100% go next year. It was such a laugh and I had a really good time with all my friends. It was definitely something different and a new experience but I absolutely loved it.

October GlossyBox 2018

This month’s Glossybox is ‘Treat Edition’ getting ready for Halloween. There are some product inside to help you achieve that perfect Halloween look. I love the design of this months box as well, it was very well designed. Especially with the beautiful burgundy colour. I hope you enjoy looking at what I received in my months glossy box. IMG_E3228IMG_3230IMG_3227IMG_3226IMG_3225IMG_3224IMG_3223Illamsqua Antimatter Lipstick in ‘Nebula’:

I have never tried an Illamsqua lipstick so I was excited when I saw this inside the box. The colour isn’t my go-to colour but it is a halloween edition box. The information card that comes inside the box says ‘The perfect clutch bag accomplice for your halloween party, this cruelty-free lipstick from the British beauty brand with an edge will suit every outfit. The cushioned finish glides effortlessly onto your lips for an on-trend semi-matte finish. We’re smitten with this girly, bright and beautiful shade of pink that suits all skin tones. It’s an incredibly flattering hue so your pearly whites shine brighter and whiter too’. This is a full size product and retails for £20

MUA MakeUp Academy Luxe Strobe & Glow Highlighting Kit in ‘Pink Luster’:

I love trying out new highlighters so yet again when I saw this inside this months box I was excited to try it out. I like how there is a powder and a cream to this product, I love the pinky shade to it as well. The information card says ‘Skin is forever in, but this season it’s all about luminescent radiance. Get your glow on with this vegan friendly and cruelty-free strobe and highlight kit that’s featured in videos by famous YouTuber NikkieTutorials. The 2 in1 compact, includes cream and powder highlighter so you can achieve an intense, iridescent look in a single swipe!’ This is a full size product and retails for £5

Luna By Luna Cosmetics Translucent Powder in – Loose:

I love trying out new translucent powders. I am always weary if they have a white flashback though, I do love using loose powders as well although they can be messy. I just find I don’t tend to travel with them a lot. The information card says ‘Hailing form New Jersey, this cruelty-free setting powder sets your makeup to keep your skin smooth for hours. We’re in love with the lightweight formula that soaks up excess oil while softening fine lines and hiding pores’. This is a full size product and retails for £17

This Works In Transit Camera Close-Up:

We have received this item in our glossy box before and I didn’t find I reached for it a lot. There’s nothing wrong with the product I just find I have other primers which I prefer over this one. The information card says ‘You’ll be ready for your close-up with this cruelty-free mask, moisturiser and primer in one. The powerful blend of repairing plant oils, Hyaluronic Acid, Argan and Starflower Oils plus a hit of Caffeine, result in a revitalising formula. This is a perfect way to rapidly erase the signs f fatigue, boost hydration and to prep your skin for photo perfect make up’. This is a deluxe mini size (20ml) which retails for £17, the full size (40ml) retails for £35

Sleek MakeUp Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Oh So Special’:

I have tried the brand Sleek before and I love their products. There eyeshadows are very pigmented and blend beautifully. However, again as this months box is halloween inspired they aren’t colours I would normally go for. None the less it is a very pretty palette. The information card says ‘Swap your summer shades for moodier, autumnal hues with this full-size cruelty-free palette. The 12 super pigmented, long-lasting, mineral bases shades cover all bases from smoky and sophisticated to daytime chic. We adore the combination of matte and pearlescent shades that’ll keep you nag on-trend and provide a whole host of possibilities for a sultry Halloween eye look’. This is a full size product and retails for £8.99

October Favourite’s 2017

It’s the start of a new month so time for a October favourite’s. Don’t forget to check out my youtube channel hannahxoxoblog. And I hope enjoy!

Sleek Blush in ‘Pomegranate’:
As it is autumn I have been loving using my sleek blush in ‘pomegranate’. It’s such a perfect colour for autumn time. Sleek products are very pigmented so I only have to apply a small amount of this on my cheeks and I love it. I would highly recommend this blush, especially in autumn.

Pixi Brow Tamer:
I received this is my Glossybox and I have really been enjoying it. I have been switching in-between this brow tamer and the NYX Tinted Brow Mascara, daily. Whenever I want a clear brow gel on my brows I will use this one. And when I want a tinted brow gel I will use this NYX one. I love this because it keeps my brows in place all day.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Moisturiser:
I have always loved this moisturiser and I 100% recommend it! However, in October for about a week I have had really dry skin around my skin and I had no idea what was causing it. So I was using this moisturiser to help the dry skin. Within a week my skin was back to normal! I was so thankful for this because I was becoming very self-concinious of my dry skin. Again I can’t recommend this moisturiser enough, if you haven’t tried it I would definitely say too try it out. It is worth every penny.

Cadbury Crunchy Chocolate Spider:
Supermarkets always bring these out at halloween. I loved them last year and I love them this year. It reminds me of a crunchie bar but less honeycomb. And crunchie’s are one of my favourite chocolate bars. I always pick one of these crunchy chocolate spiders up every time I see them in the supermarket.

Mustard Yellow Pillows:
I have wanted some new pillows for my couch for a while now. And when I was in dunelm I saw these and I fell in love with them. I love the mustard yellow colour. I think its such a ‘in colour’ now and I think its just a nice pop of colour to the lounge.

Sparkly Pumpkin:
I was looking in Asda when I was doing my weekly shop and I saw this and instantly I picked it up. i just think it looks so cute on my table in the lounge. It was only a couple of pounds as well which I think is really reasonably priced.

October GlossyBox 2017

This month’s Glossybox is unicorn and mermaid inspired. I love the design of the box, how it’s a pink to blue ombre effect. All the products as well are full size which is really good. On top of the box is a Dorothy Perkins ‘the Shoe Edit’ booklet about all ‘the shoes you need this season’. As well as a ‘half unicorn’ sticker which I love, and will definitely be putting on my notebook. Also check out my Youtube channel hannahxoxoblog. I hope you enjoy!

Make Up Revolution Mermaids vs Unicorns Eyeshadow Palette:
I have never tried any Make Up Revolution make up before so I am excited to try this out. It does have some colours which are out of my comfort zone but I will definitely give them a go. The information card that comes within the box says ‘Whether you’re channeling an other-worldly look inspired by unicorns and mermaids or merely want a subtle flash of uplifting colour, unleash your creative side with these twelve dreamy shades, from whimsically adventurous to subtly charming’. This product retails for £4

Sleek Make Up Creme to Powder Blush in ‘Carnation’:
I have got one of Sleek’s powder blushes and I really like it. Therefore, I am excited to try out their creme to powder blush. The packing on this product is very similar to Nars packaging and I love how Sleek it looks. The information card says ‘An uplifting shade of blush always has the ability to put a smile on our faces. This innovative cream-to-powder blush is intensely pigmented (a little goes a long way) but has a natural, dewy finish and each Glossy will get one of six flattering hues’. This product retails for £5.99

Kawaii Enterprise Brush Cleansing Egg:
I have wanted one of these for quite a while now so I am super excited to try it out! And to see if they are as good as everyone claims they are. The information card says ‘This silicone brush cleansing egg makes it easier than ever. Pop your two fingers inside the egg, wet your brush and add a dash of gently liquid soap. Swirl your brush over the small nodules at the top to create a lather and then remove the foam (and product build up) by running the bristles down the deeper grooves, which will also realign the brush hairs without damaging them’. This product retails for £7.99

Lord & Berry Magic Brow Perfect Eye Brow Pencil:
I prefer extractable eyebrow pencils as I find them easier to use but I will definitely give this one a go. I have heard of this brand before but never tried out any of their products. The information card says ‘This highly pigmented brow pencil has a marbleised tip swirled with two complimentary shades, so it flatters all colourings by mimicking the colour variation naturally found in brows’. This product retails for £14

Bang Beauty Cream Colour in ‘Dolce Pink’
I have never heard of this brand before so again I am excited to try it out. The information card says ‘This multi-purpose cream can be used on your lips, cheeks and eyes, making for the perfect eyeshadow, blush or highlighter’. This product retails for £19.50

October Favourites

Maybelline The Eraser Eye Concealer:
I heard a lot of people love this concealer so I had to see if it was as good as everyone says. I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite concealer but I do really like it. It covers my dark circles under my eyes really well (not 100% but I haven’t found a concealer yet that covers them 100%). I quite like the applicator as well just because it is so different.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo:
I have re-discovered this product. This last month I have had a few spots and they are starting to scar. Therefore, I thought I would try this out again I have been really liking it. I use a small amount of it on my spots/scars at night and by the morning I can notice a difference in my skin. I definitely want to try out more of the products from this brand.

Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar:
This is one of my favourite products from Lush. I love how you can reuse this product again and again. It makes so many bubbles and smells amazing. It does smell similar to snow fairy which I love.

Topshop Joni Jeans:
Bit of a random favourite this month but, I have wanted to try out Joni jeans for a while and finally have. I have heard a lot of people love these jeans and I can see why. They are so comfortable as they are a stretchy material. Topshop jeans are a lot more personal. They have a size for any shape and height (as well as a lot of different style’s).

TeaPigs Minty Fresh Peppermint Leaves:
I always try to drink herbal teas as they are good for you (and taste really good). I haven’t tried this brand before but I have heard of it. I thought I would try it out and I really like it. The packaging is adorable, the tea bags feel really good quality and it’s naturally caffeine free. The tea itself tastes and smells really good! I would highly recommend this flavour as well as the brand.

October GlossyBox

This month’s Glossybox was put together by Estee Lalonde, beauty and lifestyle vlogger. I have watched a few of her video’s on YouTube, she seems so kind and lovely. This month’s box actually came with 6 product’s, 4 being full size, a discount code to Hello Fresh and a sneak peek to November’s box. GlossyBox have collaborated with Wendy Rowe to put together a limited edition GlossyBox for November, including luxury skincare and make up for £35.

A New Hair Hero:

This shampoo smells really good, it is a thick creamy shampoo though. Normally I do prefer a clear shampoo but I will defiantly give this one a go. It say’s on the information card ‘This shampoo has graced my bathroom shelves for years and now, this classic bestseller has had an update. It’s still unbeatable at caring for the scalp, but will also protect the health of hair and keep it nourished and shiny’.

Trifle Cosmetics Lip Parfait – Buttery Lip Cream:
The packaging for this product is adorable and so unique. The outside of the packaging is cardboard and then when you take of the lid its plastic inside. A girl can never have enough lip product’s. On the information card it say’s ‘This pretty nude shade is infused with vitamin E to keep lips plumped and hydrated and the pigments are silicone-coated so it won’t dull or become feathery-looking. Glide it straight onto lips for a creamy matte finish.’ This product is a fun size and retails of £12.95

PS…Pro Longwear Lip Liner:
I was very interested when I saw this as it is a lip liner but the tip of it is like a pen. The shade I received is ‘Midnight Crimson’ which would go perfectly with my Kate Moss lipstick in ’30’. The information card say’s ‘This felt tip-style liner has been specially designed to smooth over the contours of your lips, for a seamless finish!’. This product is again a full size and retails for £3 which is really good and inexpensive.

Universal Beauty Secret Flush, Smoothing Cream Blush & Lip Stain Duo:
I have seen products similar to this and I have never been to keen on how you apply them but I will give it a go and see how it is. On the information card it say’s ‘A multi-tacker that should be tucker inside every handbag. Smile and blend this onto the apples of your cheeks and the innovative formula will create a subtle flush of colour – or glide it onto your lips for a pretty dash of pink’ The colour I received is ‘Nectar’ which is a full size product and retails for £15

Bee Good Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator:

I am very excited to try this product out as it is an exfoliater and it says on the bottle it is made form British bee’s. I am looking for a new exfoliator as well. On the information card it say’s ‘This mask ticks a trio of boxes; exfoliating, hydrating and skin calming. Lavender gently lifts and exfoliates dulling dead skin cells without irritating, wheatgerm oil soothes and moisturises while British propolis helps balance problematic complexions’. This is a full size product (seems a little small to be a full size exfoliating product) and retails for £10.50

The Ritual of Sakura Body Cream:
I haven’t heard of this brand before so am excited to try it out. I did put some on the back of my hand and it does feel quick thick and moisturising. The information card say’s ‘Rituals best-selling whipped body cream is rich, velvety and deeply nourishing – you’ll see the difference after just a few days’. This product is a tester but, a good size tester. The full size product retails for £l6 which I think is really good.
