July GlossyBox 2017

This month’s Glossybox is for getting ready for summer. And I have been subscribed to GlossyBox for a year now so they sent me a little card in my box saying ‘Thank you’ as well as a little notebook.

IMG_6568Bellapierre Cosmetic’s Banana Setting Powder:
I haven’t tried a banana powder before so I am excited to try this on out. It does seem very thin and dusty just by first impression’s. The information card that comes with the box say’s ’This banana setting powder has a yellow hue that helps to counteract redness, discolouration, blemishes and dark circles in paler skin tones and creates beautiful highlights against olive and dark skin’. This is a full size product and retails for £25.

IMG_6567Spectrum Collection’s Small Fan – A10:
I don’t own a fan brush so I am excited to try this out and see how well it applies highlight. I have heard of this brand before as well. The information card say’s ‘Spectrum’s best-selling small fan brush is perfect for applying setting powder or highlighter thanks to its premium cruelty-free synthetic bristles’. Personally I would only use this brush for highlighter not setting powder as well. This brush is a full size and retail’s for £4.99

IMG_6565Monu Professional Skincare, MONUspa Soothing After Sun Lotion:
I love how this product has aloe vera in it as I love aloe vera. It feels very light and thin which I really like for summer time. The card say’s ‘With the most active form of soothing aloe vera as well as vitamin E and shea butter, this luxurious after sun cools, hydrates and helps to calm sunned-out skin’. This product is a sample size but the full size retails for £19.95

IMG_6569Cute Balms Macaroon Ting Balm in ‘Crushed Berry’:
I think the packaging on this product is so cute, and I absolutely love macaroons. I think it is a smart idea how it is a lip bam as well cheek tint. Although personally I would only use it as a lip balm. It smells really good as well. The information card say’s ‘It’s pretty, does double duty as a lip and cheek colour and smells good too’. This is a full size product and retails for £5.99

Papanga Spiral Hairbrands:
I have tried hairbands like these ones before and I really like them. Although these ones seem a little more thicker than the ones I have. The card say’s ‘Hair can damage and fray when you secure it with tight elastic hair bands. Not so with these spiral alternative, which hold hair while preventing breakage and split ends’. There are two hairbands that come in a pack and retails for £4.99

And that is everything I received in my GlossyBox this month. Also check out my youtube channel ‘hannahxoxoblog’ . I hope you enjoyed and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette Make Up Tutorial

I use this palette nearly everyday I do my make up. So, I thought I would share with you my go to look. I hope you enjoy reading!

IMG_6426Face:
I am going to start off by priming my skin with my NYX Angel Veil primer. The foundation I am going to use is the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation which I have been loving recently. To conceal any spots and my under eye’s I am going to use my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. And to highlight my face I am going to use my Naked Skin Concealer. Another product I have been loving is the RCMA No Colour Powder, and I’m just going to set my face with this. For my bronzer I am going to use my Nars Laguna Bronzer. This is going to contour my face as well as bronze up my skin. The blush I am going to use is the Benefit Rockateur blush with my E.L.F. Baked Highlight on the tops of my cheek bones.

Eye’s:
For my eyeshadow I am going to use my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. But before I am going to prime my eyelids with the Urban Decay Primer Potion and set that in place with ‘White Chocolate’. I am then going to blend ‘Salted Caramel’ through my crease. Then I am going to blend ‘Semi-Sweet’ in the outer corner and a little bit through my crease. Repeating the same (blending in the outer corner and a little bit through try crease) with ‘Cherry Cordial’. Once that is all blended I am going to spray my brush with some Mac Fix + and apply ‘Marzipan’ onto my lid and then blend out the edge’s. Finally, I am going to spray my brush again with Mac Fix + and apply ‘Champagne Truffle’ to my brow bone and inner corner. To finish off my eye’s I am just going to apply some Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara.

IMG_6421Lip’s:
I am going to start by apply Barry M ‘Blush’ lip liner all over my lip’s. Then, applying Mac ‘Hue’ lipstick over the top. This has been my recent favourite lip combo at the moment.

And that is the finished make up look. Also check out my Youtube channel ‘hannahxoxoblog’. I hope you enjoyed watching and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

May Favourite’s

It’s that time of the month again, another monthly favourite’s. I hope you enjoy reading!

IMG_6433Anastasia Brow Wiz:
I have had this product for a while now but recently I have been using this all the time. I find it a lot easier to fill in my brows and quicker as well (which is always a bonus). I don’t find it too waxy either, I find it a little more creamy which I really like.

Nars Laguna Bronzer:
I recently bought this when I went to Edinburgh. And I fell in love with it. The colour is perfect for contouring and bronzing up my skin. It does actually remind me of the Benefit Hoola bronzer. I absolutely love this product and would highly recommend it.

IMG_6082
Urban Outfitter’s Khaki Jumper:
Again I bought this when I was in Edinburgh (I did show it in my Edinburgh Haul Blog). I love how big and baggy this jumper is. It’s also a little cropped on the front which I do really like. I do also love this colour as well.
Hollister Bralette:
I have never owed a bralette before but I really wanted one to wear one underneath some tops. I find them so comfortable and I love the design of them. I would defiantly recommend them and want some more.

IMG_6430
Deep Sleep Pillow Spray:
I have been loving this product recently. Every night before I go to bed I spray my pillows with this and I find it so relaxing when I’m going to sleep. It smells like lavender and I love the smell of lavender. It does say it is suppose to help you sleep, I’m not too sure if it does as I sleep quite well anyway, But I do love using this before I go to bed in a evening.

And that is everything I have been loving in May. Also check out my Youtube channel ‘hannahxoxoblog’. I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

May GlossyBox

This month’s Glossybox I found had a few exciting things inside for me. So I thought I would share them with you like I do every month. Also inside my box was a gift card from MockBerg which is very kind of them.

fullsizeoutput_4c8Scrub Love Active Charcoal Body Scrub:
I was very excited when I first saw this as I love body scrubs and I love detoxifying my skin. The packaging say’s ‘Deeply Cleansing, Gently Smoothing, Naturally Hydrating’, which all three statements appeal to me. There is also Avocado and Aloe Vera ingredients which I love the sound of. The information card that comes with the box say’s ‘This charcoal-based body exfoliator – charcoal is one of the most ancient detoxing ingredients – absorbs the day-to-day pollutants and impurities that sit on the skin’. This retails for £13.95

NutraKiss Lip Plumper:
I love tying out lip plumper to see if they actually work. So, Im eager to try this one out. I have put some on my lips quickly and you can definitely feel like its working but we will have to wait and see. The information card say’s ‘This transparent lip gloss contains active ingredients complex that has a volumising and nourishing-effect on lips, as well as creating great shine’. This is a tester size (it’s really cute) and the full size retails for £13

fullsizeoutput_4c9Ruby Powder Blush in Coral:
I love trying out new make up products so I was excited to try it out. The packaging does feel a little cheap I will say. But, when I swatch it it’s very pigmented and blends lovely. The card say’s ‘RUBY’s super silky powder blush gives a perfect pop of coral colour to your cheeks for a summer glow’. This is a full size product and retails for €14.99

fullsizeoutput_4caDr.PAWPAW Original Balm:
I haven’t heard of this brand before but it does say on the packaging ‘For Lips, Skin, Hair and Beauty Finishing, Cuticles and Nails’. Which appeals to me a lot. I put a little on the back of my hand and it does feel very moisturising. The information card say’s ‘This multipurpose balm is a permanent fixture in many a beauty insider’s makeup bag. It can be used on your lips, skin and hair and can be pressed along the tops of your cheekbones to create cheer sheen or to smooth flyaway hairs and unruly brows’. This is a full size product (which I personally think is a good size) and retail for £6.95 (I again personally think it’s very affordable for all the things it claims to do).

fullsizeoutput_4cbCaudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet:
The words ‘Moisturing Sorbet’ instantly appeals to me and I can’t wait to try it product out. I have put a small amount on the back of my hand and it feels very thin and lightweight which I like. The information card say’s ‘This lightweight gel/cream is rich in powerful anti-oxidants and patented polyphenols to help calm reactive skin and restore it’s water reserves to make it more resilient’. That sound’s perfect I can’t wait to try this product out! This is a tester size but the full size retails for £23

And that is everything I received in my GlossyBox this month. A couple of my favourite things were the Dr.PAWPAW Original Balm and the Caudalie Moisturising Sorbet. I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

Hi guys, today I thought I would do a blog on what I pack in my suitcase when I go on holiday and what I have in my carry on, as I spent last week in Edinburgh. I hope you enjoy!

When I pack my suitcase I like to make a list of everything I need so I don’t forget anything. Then, if I need to go out and buy anything I can. I like to have minimal in my carry on so its not crazy heavy and then I can just bring my handbag. In the list below is everything that I will bring with me in my suitcase. If you are going for a long holiday you will have to bring more of each item e.g. 3 tops/7 tops. And of course if you are going somewhere hot you will want to bring a swimsuit, or somewhere cold more jumpers/layers. When packing your suitcase I would highly recommend using packing cubes. April GlossyBox

This month’s Glossybox had a few really good goodies, and as I normally do I thought I would share them with you.

IMG_5810Elgon DeliWash Cleansing Conditioner:
I am really interested by this product and eager to try it out. I have used a co-wash before and I wasn’t a massive fan of it but I am eager to try this one out. The information card that comes in the box say’s ‘Get ready to revolutionise your morning showers! Co-washes combine the cleansing action of a shampoo with the hydration of a conditioner in one quick-to-use product. With its ability to cleanse hair without stripping it, co-washing suits all hair types, but those with afro hair or corkscrews will find it enhances curls leaving them free from frizz.’ It doesn’t say if this isn’t a full size product but the full size does retail for £14.50

IMG_5811ModelCo Contour Stick:
I’m not going to lie I’m not a massive fan of contour sticks so I’m not too excited to try this product out, but I will defiantly try it out. The colour looks a little oranges as well. The information card say’s ‘This chunky contour crayon makes defining cheekbones both easy and precise, gliding over bare skin or foundation. Draw an angled line along the ‘hollow’ area directly below the cheekbones, then blend for soft definition’. This is a tester size and the full size retails for £17

IMG_5814Sport FX Definition Duo Eyeliner Pencil:
I think this is such a smart product as one side is black and the other is brown. Therefore you don’t have to get two different colour’s. I am very excited to try this product out. The information card say’s ‘Sport FX has been specially created to offer multi-use products that make quick turnarounds at the gym a reality. This dual-ended retractable pencil always stays sharp and features both black and brown eyeliner shades so you can create different looks (brunettes can also use it to define brows). This is a full size product and retails for £9.99

img_5812.jpgMerch Handy Love and Hand Cleansing Gel:
I have seen this product before but have never tried it out. I love how it is pocket size as well, perfect for my handbag. The information card say’s ‘on a daily commute anti-bacterial gel is a must-have. As well as being bacteria-busting, this pocket-sized bottle pf hand sanitiser leaves hands soft thanks to the tiny pearls, which burst on application to hydrate hands’. This again is a full size product and retails for £2.90, which I think is really good.

IMG_5813Radial Glamolash Mascara XXL:
I have received an eyepencil from this brand before in a GlossyBox and I have tried it once and I do like it so I have high hopes for this product. The wand looks a little big but still like it. The information card say’s ‘When it comes to our lashes we don’t want to hold back, which is why we love this mascara. If you want extreme everything then this is the mascara for you. The long-wear formula is jet black and leaves lashes supersized but soft’. This product is a tester but the full size does retail for £24

I hope you enjoyed reading and having a look on what I received in my GlossyBox. And I hope to see you soon! Bye!

March GlossyBox

This month’s Glossybox is putting the ‘p’ in prep and perfect. Starting by prepping your skin before foundation to making you hair looking perfect.

oOluton Eye love:
I am currently looking for a new eye cream and always willing to try new ones out. Therefore, was excited to see one in this month’s Glossybox. I have tried a little on the back of my hand and it feels nice and thin, which I like and moisturising. I can’t wait to try this out on my under eye’s. The information card say’s ‘The 100% natural formula is hydrating and rich in antioxidants, helping to diminish dark circles, and reduce puffiness, whether you use it at the end of a long day or the morning after’. This is a full size product and retails for £30. Which I personally think is quite expensive considering the size of it.

Sleek Eye & Cheek Palette:
I have used Sleek products before and I love the brand (as well as the packaging). I have an eyeshadow palette of theirs and a face powder palette and I really love both of them so I am exciting to try this out. The card say’s ‘Each one of Sleek’s slim-line palettes is so thoughtfully put together, it might just put your makeup bag out of action. With four eye shades and two cheek colours, this ticks all the essentials and you’ll use EVERYTHING’. This is again a pull size product and retails for £10.

This Works In Transit Camera Close-Up:
I have used this brand before and I really like it. This product says it’s a ‘mask, moisturiser and primer in one’, which I am very excited to try it out and see how it is. The information card say’s ‘This primer balances, plumps and brightens skin, leaving it photo-perfect – which is probably why Victoria Beckham reportedly loves it so much. We like to layer it over our usual moisturiser or face oil to boost hydration and leave skin prepped, primed and ready for make up’. This product retails for £30. I am really excited to try this out and especially since Victoria Beckham really likes it

Figs & Rouge Hydra-Activ Smart Nutrient Vital Moisture Day Cream:
I haven’t heard of this brand before so I’m eager to try it out and I love trying out new moisturiser’s. The information card say’s ‘This moisturiser is all you need for lightweight but instant and long-lasting hydration. Apply evenly to the face and neck daily after cleansing to allow the hyaluronic acid and trio of vitamins A, C and E to get to work’. This product retails for £28. I will definitely try this product out and see if its as good as it claims to be.

GOT2B Styling PRIMER:
I have tried out and couple of products from this brand before but nothing like this. The packaging is very weird I have to say. But on the bottle it says ‘grip & lasting control, easier styling, soft touch’ which I am very intrigued by. I can’t wait to try this product out. the card say’s ‘By priming you hair, styling it becomes ten times easier. This primer gives hair grip and pliability, as well as lasting control. Work it into damp or dry hair and then style for perfectly controlled and shiny locks’. This product is full size and retails for £4.18, which I think is very reasonably priced.
And that was everything I received in my Glossybox this month. I hope you enjoyed reading and I will hopefully see you soon! Bye!
