January Favourite’s 2019

It’s the start of a new month again and time for another monthly favourites video. I do have quite a few beauty favourites and netflix favourites this month. I hope you enjoy looking at my January favourite’s.

Mac Blush in ‘Orgasm’:                                                                                                                  This blush is such a know blush in the beauty industry. And of course I wanted to see what the hype was about. it is such a perfect shade for day-to-day. It’s a muted pink but still adds a gorgeous flush to your cheeks. It’s not too powdery either which I prefer.

Benefit Dandelion Twinkle Highlighter:                                                                                                                 I have recently bought this highlighter and I fell in love with it straight away. It leaves such a beautiful wet shine on your cheek bones which I find looks very natural. It can be quite powdery but I don’t mind that, it doesn’t really bother me. I would definitely recommend this highlighter though.

Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil:                                                                                                                 I have fallen in love with this eyebrow pencil. It has a great creamy formula to it but still lasts all day. Normally I will buy the smaller pencil without the brush as its cheaper and I can use any brush for that. I would definitely recommend this eyebrow pencil.

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipstick in ‘Child Star’:                                                                                                                 I love trying out new lip products. I have never tried this liquid lipstick before, but I have fallen in love with it. The formula is perfect, it’s not  drying but still lasts all day. I am very eager to try out more colours in this range.

Naked Heat Palette:                                                                                                                 Again this is another product that I have recently bought and again I am in love with it. The colour range is amazing, I love warm orange/brown colours on my eyes. Especially as the bring out the blue in my eyes. The shades blend like a dream and I can easily use every shade in the palette. This is definitely my favourite Naked palette out of all of them.

Netflix:                                                                                                                                             In January I had a week off work as I had no time off over Christmas. Within my week I purposely didn’t book lots of things so I could just chill and relax for a week. Therefore, I found myself watching a lot of Netflix. The series I have been watching and loving recently are; season 4 of Peaky Blinder, You, Sex Education and Power. All of these series I loved and would definitely recommend.

Again I have heard very good things about them and eager to try them out. The one I received in my Glossybox is a ‘colour protection deep conditioner’ which contains ’kalahari melon oil’. The information card says ‘These deeply nourishing treatments infused with Argan oil, keratin protein, Kalahari melon oil or bamboo extracts will repair, soften and strengthen your hair. -417 Facial Micro Luffa Foaming Gel:                                                                                             I am not a massive fan of foaming gels to be honest so I was very excited when I first saw this inside the box. However, I will definitely give it ago. The information cards says ‘Add this refreshing foaming gel cleanser into your beauty regimen! Simply work the gel into damp skin in circular motions to gently exfoliate and remove your make up! Formulated with minerals from the Dead Sea (typical of -417 products), rare plant extracts and vitamins, its invigorating formula will leave your skin feeling clean, soft and fresh’. January Favourite’s

Hi guys, it’s the start of the month again and time for another monthly favourites. Throughout January I have been using the things I got for Christmas. Therefore, most of the things I am going to mention I did receive for Christmas. I did upload a video on YouTube to go along with this blog. Please feel free to check it out 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwHDYQIgBcU3bvX6UZSOqdg

fullsizeoutput_403Morphe 35F Palette:
I have wanted this palette for a while now and have finally have it. The colour’s are gorgeous in this palette, they are all shimmer’s except for the bottom row, which are all matte. The matte colours are gorgeous in the crease of the eye. The top left colours are gorgoeus in the inner corner of the eye as well. You can create so many different eye looks from this palette as there is a good variety of colours and there is a pearly white in the top left corner and matte black in the bottom right corner. The pigmentation is crazy, it’s so good especially for the price!

img_5492Morphe 35O Palette:
I did get another palette as well just because I love warm eyeshadows. Morphe also have a 35O M (which is all matte shades) or 35O S (which is all shimmer shades) I choose to get the original 35O just because there are matte shades with a pop of shimmer shades as well. You can create so many more eyshadow looks with this palette as well. I would highly, highly recommend Morphe palette’s. The quality is amazing for the price!

img_5357Too Faced Sweetheart blush:
I got this for Christmas and I love it. The colour is a gorgeous flush of pink with some shimmer to it (perfect for summer). I will say the packaging isn’t the best for travelling, but it is super cute. I have recently been trying out the Too Faced brand and I really like it so far, and very eager to try out more of their products.

img_5395Benefit Hoola Bronzer:
I have heard of lot of people rave about this bronzer, so I had to try it out for myself. The shade is perfect for contouring and bronze up the face. It’s not too orange or muddy which is perfect. It blends out like a dream as well. I would definitely say it is worth the hype and money. I do quite like the brush that it comes with when I want more of a precise contour.

img_5488Morphe M523 Brush:
I placed an order with Morphe and received it half way through January but I have been using this everyday. I love using this brush for contour. It’s so easy to get a precise contour but you can also blend it out which is brilliant. It feels really good quality as well and the bristles are really nice and soft.

img_5356Lush Santa Baby Lip Scrub:
I haven’t tried a lip scrub before and my lips always get so dry in the winter. Therefore I thought I would try it out and I fell in love with it. After I use this my lips are so soft even when I don’t put lip balm on afterwards. I love using this before I apply a lipstick that shows any dryness in my lips as it minimises it. I would definitely love to try out more lip scrubs but this one I do love.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick in ‘Intense Fuchsia’:
I was so surprised when I first tried this out. It’s so moisturising on the lips, easy to apply and the colour isn’t too intense which I love. It does have a slight shimmer to it which makes it perfect for the summer (as well as smells amazing). The packaging is so luxury as it is YSL., I do really want to try out more of the shades now.

img_5489Beauty Blender:
I have been loving this recently. I previously used my Real Techniques sponge which has the flat side on it. But, I have been enjoying using the rounded side to apply foundation. My other sponge is starting to tear slightly but this one is lasting really well. I would definitely say its worth the price (even though it is quite expensive for a sponge).

fullsizeoutput_404BlenderCleanser Solid:
I have used this a couple times now in January and it’s so easy to clean my make up brushes. All you have to do is wet it, swirl the brush in the balm and rinse. It’s so much easier and quicker to clean my make up brushes. I do really like it to clean my sponges as well. I will defeintly repurchase this when I run out of it and would defiently recommend it.

img_5487Uggs Slippers:
My mum got me these for christmas and I have been wearing them non stop. They are just so easy to slip on and they are so comfortable. They keep my feet really warm as well which is great because my feet are normally really cold.

I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope you have a lovely rest of your day! Bye!

fullsizeoutput_2d4Vitamasques Manuka Honey Face Mask:
I love face mask’s like this, they are perfect for travelling. I have heard of this brand before but I haven’t heard of this face mask before. The information card says ‘This Korean mask is made with extracts of nourishing manuka honey and the triple layer sheet technology – a Korean innovation – makes for unbeatable absorption.’ The retail price is £3.99 which I think is really good.

fullsizeoutput_2d5Hairon Zero Crease Hair Tie:
I have some of these already but from a different brand. I personally really like them and would definitely recommend them.
