February Favourite’s 2019

It’s that time of month again. Time for another monthly favourite’s and this time I’ll be sharing with you what I’ve been loving throughout February. There isn’t any make up items this month just mainly skincare products. I hope you enjoy reading!

Body Shop Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution:                                                                                                              When I went into my local Body Shop store to repurchase my much loved bronzer I had a little look around. I wanted something for my skin as I have recently had quite a few breakouts. I love tea tree oil so I was instantly drawn to this range. As soon as I started using this product I fell in love with it. It has helped my skin massively. I don’t find I get as many breakouts and helps with scaring. I will use this after I’ve washed my face. I will apply a few drops onto my hand, rub it around my hands than gently pat onto my face. Then I will continue to moisturise my face as normal.

Body Shop Tea Tree 3-in-1 Wash Scrub Mask:                                                                                                              This is another product I bought while I was in the Body Shop at the start of the month. This combo is brilliant for my skin. The face wash, scrub and mask works fantastic with my skin and is gentle enough but still cleans and refreshes my skin really well. It doesn’t foam up which I really like about it. I’ve used it as a face wash, a scrub and a mask and I love using it every way just depending on what I’m feeling on the day. As a pair I have found this to really clear up my skin and I will 100% be repurchasing both products and trying out more of the Tea Tree range.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream:                                                                                                              As we are in Winter my lips have been very dry last month therefore, I have been using more lip balm. I have loved and used this product for a long time now. I many use it for the purpose of a lip balm as I find it works wonders on my lips. Recently I have been using it more vinously though, Every night I will apply this to my lips and they feel lovely and moisturised the next morning when I wake up. If I want a bit of a stronger lip balm during the day as well I will use this. I found this product has definitely helped my lips the past month and would 100% recommend you to try it out.

Goldsmith 9ct Diamond Heart Necklace:                                                                                                              As Valentine’s day has just been I was lucky enough to receive a gift from a loved one. I received a 9ct diamond heart necklace and I absolutely love it. It’s very delicate so I don’t tend to wear it everyday (when I’m at work). However I absolutely love it and feel so special to have it. I’ve also been wearing it every chance I can, hence why I’m mentioning it in my February favourite’s.

Pretty Little Thing Denim Jacket:                                                                                                              As the sun is making more of an appearance as the month has gone on I’ve had a clear out of my wardrobe. Putting away my winter clothes and bring out my summer clothes. One item I’ve bought out is my denim jacket and even though its still not that warm I have been loving it. I can already tell its going to be a must have in the summer.

Jonny English Strikes Again:                                                                                                              I have watched the first two Jonny English movies and I loved them so I was very excited to watch the third one when it came out. I won’t ruin the film incase you haven’t watched it. But I loved it, I found it so funny and had me in stitches in parts of the film. I will say it’s not as good as the first one (however the first film is a classic in my eyes) but I still loved it none the less. Definitely give it a watch if you have already seen the first two films.

I have never heard of this brand either. The information card says ‘There’s nothing more charming than a nice smile. Give your teeth a spruce with this regenerating, strengthening and enamel mineral restoring toothpaste. Boasting unique NR-5 ingredients, it reverses the early enamel erosion process, while also giving you early-white teeth and fresh, minty breath’. I especially like sheet masks as well so I was excited and eager to try it out when I saw it inside the box. February Favourite’s 2018

It’s the start of a new month so time for another monthly favourite’s. As it’s coming out of Winter and into Spring I have been starting to bring some more life into my make up. And rediscovering make up product’s that I loved last Spring/Summer time. Also check out my youtube channel hannahxoxoblog. I hope you enjoy!

Too Faced HangoveRX Primer:
I think I mentioned this in last months monthly favourites. But I had to mention it because I have been using this everyday I apply my make up. I love how it feels on my skin. It is tacky on my skin so I know my make up is going to last all day. I love the smell of it and the packaging. I would 100% recommend this primer as well.
Morphe 35F Palette:
I have rediscovered my love for this palette. I can create so many different looks with this palette. It’s so easy to travel with, I do really like the packaging as well. Morphe palettes are so worth the money, there are really reasonably priced and the pigmentation is really good. Again I would definitely recommend morphe palette’s.

Botanic’s All Bright Purifying Face Scrub:
I bought this in a haul recently and I have been trying it out. And I do really like it. It doesn’t definitely feel like I’m exfoliating my skin but its not harsh on my skin at all, which I really like.
Aveda Smooth Infusion Nourishing Styling Creme:
When it comes to drying my hair I am very lazy. Day-to-day I will let my hair air dry. Although when I let my hair air dry it does look more frizzy so I have to apply product to my hair when its wet. And this styling creme minimises nearly all the frizz, which is really good. Again I would 100% recommend this product.
Lily’s Kitchen Dog Treat’s:
I have heard a lot of good things about this brand so I wanted to try them out. My dog, Alfie, has a very sensitive stomach so I was weary about try this out. I got the ‘Rise and Shines, Beef Liver & Fresh Carrot’ flavour and my dog really likes them. They use 100% organic ingredients as well which is probably why they do agree wit his stomach. I a very eager to try out more of their products now as well.

February GlossyBox 2018

This month’s Glossybox ‘Galentines’ inspired. There is a eight product’s displayed on the information card but there is only 5 products in the box. So, I’m not too sure what that is about but there is definitely some goodies in the box. Also check out my youtube channel hannahxoxoblog. I hope you enjoy!

Ciate London Geology & Paint Pots:
I love Ciate nail varnish so I was very excited when I saw this in the box. It is a mini as well which is super cute. The information card that comes with the box says ‘This fearless brand is renowned for it’s huge range of colours and powerful creativity. But most importantly, we love Ciate’s no-nonsense approach to animal cruelty – your Ciate nail varnish is PETA certified and vegan friendly. With a gel finish, Ciate’s polishes allow flexibility to minimise chipping and provide up to 10 days of high shine gloss’. This is a mini size which retails for £6 and the full size retails for £9

Steve Laurent Nude Pop Lip Tnt:
We have received a different product from this brand before so I am eager to try out another, I’m not a massive fan of the packaging I will say, it reminds me of a lip balm. Although I don’t really use lip tints a lot either. The information card says ‘This gorgeous creamy lip tint is cruelty-free, hydrating and long-lasting!’ This is a full size product and retails for £17

Studio10 Beauty Make up Mist Glow-Plexion:
I love trying out new make up sprays so I am very excited to try this one out. When I spray it on the back of my hand it definitely feels tacky which will be good to prep the skin for make up. The information card says ‘This mist instantly primes, refreshes and hydrates lacklustre skin. It can also be used as a setting spray’. This is a mini size which retails for £14 and the full size retails for £26

Icona Milano Emotion Allowed Mascara:
I always love trying out new mascara’s so I am eager to try out this one. The wand looks good as well. The information card says ‘ With a creamy formula perfect for building extreme volume that lasts, this mascara is cruelty-free and smudge, water and humidity resistant!’ This is a full size product and retails for £15

Sleek Make Up Divine Eyeshadow Palette:
I love Sleek make up products, especially there eyeshadows. The eyeshadows are very pigmented as well and I really like the packaging as it has a good size mirror. The information card says ‘Take a look from natural to dramatic with the 12 super pigmented shades in this palette’. This is a full size product and retails for £8.99

February Favourite’s

As it’s the start of a new month again it’s time for a monthly favourite’s.

img_5574NYX Angel Veil Primer:
I have been using this every time I do my make up now and I love it. It goes on so smoothly and makes my make up go on perfectly on top. I love how it just blurs out my skin and it does say ’skin perfecting’, which I would say it defiantly does do. I would highly recommend it.

img_5576NYX HD Blush in ‘Hamptons’:
I love the colour of this blush. It’s matte which I do really like and it blends out really well. It is very pigmented so you do need to be a little careful. You do get a decent amount of product as well which is great. I will say it is quite powdery when you put your brush in the pan, but I’m not too fussed about that.

img_5577E.L.F. Baked Highlight in ‘Moonlight Pearl’:
This highlight isn’t really intense but it’s not really suttle either, which I really like. I love using this day-to-day. It is baked but I find I don’t have to use it wet. I have used their baked blush as well but I don’t love it near as much as I love this highlight. Again, I would highly recommend to try it out.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in ‘Nude-ist’:
I haven’t tried any Bourjois lipsticks before so I was excited to try it out. It’s not too drying on my lips and doesn’t emphasis any dryness which I love as it is a matte finish. I am in love with the colour, its a neutral pink. It applies really smooth and easy onto my lips which is a bonus for me.

img_5573Mac Fix +:
When I first bought this I didn’t really use it a lot but I have started using it again and I really like it. Whenever I want to make a eyeshadow more intense I will spray this on my brush first. Or when I think my face is looking a little powdery I will spray this all over my face, it just helps my make up sink into my skin (it doesn’t make my make up last longer though). I would defiantly recommend.

img_5578Zoeva Luxe Soft Crease Brush:
I love using this brush to blend out a transition shade into my crease. Its the perfect shape and blends out any eyeshadow perfectly. I find myself using this brush on a day-to-day basis. I love all my Zoeva brushes but this is the one I would defiantly recommend to anyone. They are a little more expensive but I would say they are worth the money. I would say to buy them as a set, as you do save a some money.

gossip-girlGossip Girl:
I have been watching this non stop recently. I loved Pretty Little Liars and I wanted something similar to watch on Netflix, and this came up so I gave it a go. It is comparable I would say but not too similar. Without giving it away, its about a group of teenagers at school showing their day-to-day life, but with a someone writing a blog about everything going out in school. If I loved Pretty Little Liars I think you would really like it.

That is everything I have been loving in February. I have also filmed a video on YouTube if you would like to check it out! I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

February GlossyBox

This month’s Glossybox is Valentine’s inspired, as it’s February. I love the design of the box I think it’s so cool. This month’s Glossybox has some really good goodies and excited to try them out! I am also so excited for the March’s Glossybox. On the information card there is a little sneak peek of next month’s box, which has a Sleek Palette (I do love Sleek product’s as well so I am really excited for it).

img_5522Jeanna Arthes L’Eau de Rose:
I love trying out new perfume’s and I do really like the smell of this one. I haven’t heard of this brand before so I am excited to use it. The information card say’s ‘Rose is having a moment and this delicate fragrance is a wonderfully modern reinvention, combining the classic scent with dreamy, elegant and crisp notes’. This is a full size product and retails for £20.

img_5523La Theorie Des Volcans Noir Eternal Youth Potion Face Scrub:
I love trying out new skincare products and stubs. Again I haven’t heard of this brand so I am very excited to try it out. The card say’s ‘Using mineral-rich volcanic paste, this mask cleanses and purifies. Enriched with anti-ageing ingredients, it also plumps and smoothes skin’. Again this is a full size product and retails for £26.

img_5524Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures Strength Restorer Balm:
I am so excited to try this out as I do really like Garnier products. As this is a sample it’s in a weird packaging. It reminds me of the ice-cream things from when I was younger. The information card say’s ‘This hair mask harnesses the hydrating properties of honey to leave hair nourished and glossy’. The full size product retails for £4.49 (which is really good, I think).

img_5525Ciate London Paint Pot in ‘Iced Frappe’:
I have heard so much about this brand but have never tried it out for myself. So, I am excited to see if it’s as good as everyone say’s. I absolutely love the colour of this nail polish. I think it’s cute with the little bow as well. The card say’s ‘While we love a bit of nail art, there is nothing more satisfying than finding the perfect nude. This hue flatter any skin tone and the coffee undertones beautifully warm and uplift your skin’. This is a full size product and retails for £9.

img_5526Mememe Beat the Blues in ‘Oyster Gold’:
I haven’t heard of this brand before so I am excited to try it out. It’s a perfect colour for a party or going out somewhere. The information card say’s ‘Boost the radiance of a winter-weary complexion with this iridescent skin illuminator’. Again this is a full size product and retails for £7.25

I really loved this month’s Glossybox, all perfect for Valentine’s Day no matter if you’re celebrating it with a boyfriend/girlfriend or having a night in with your friends. Some of my favourite things were the Jeanne Arthes perfume, the LA Theorie Des Volcans facial scrub and the CIate nail polish. I hope you enjoyed reading! I hope to see you soon, Bye!

Valentine’s Day Make Up Look

As Valentine’s Day is just round the corner I thought I would do an Valentine’s Day inspired make up look. I wanted to go for something quite simple and pretty. I hope you enjoy!

I have still be loving my Body Shop InstaBlur so I am going to start off with apply that on my face. As well as my Bourjois City Radiance Foundation blending that out with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush. To conceal my dark circles I am going to use my Mac Pro Longwear Concealer and my Naked Skin Concealer to highlight my under eyes, and again blending that out with my Beauty Blender this time. To set my under eyes I am going to use my E.L.F. Under eye powder applying that with my E.L.F. Small Tapered Brush. I am going to bronze up my face a little with the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, using my Real Techniques Contour Brush. Onto blush, recently I have been loving my Too Faced Sweetheart Blush as it’s the perfect shade for a valentines look. I’m going to apply that with my Real Techniques Blush Brush. Finally for my face I will use my Laura Geller Illuminator in ‘Gilded Honey’ to highlight my face, applying that with again my E.L.F. Small Tapered Brush.

For my brows I am going to use my Anastasia Brow Wiz which I have been loving recently. Then setting them in place with my Benefit Gimme Brow. I am going to prime my eyes with my Urban Decay Primer Potion. For eyeshadow I want it to be quite pink and suttle so I am going to use my Naked 3 Palette. Starting off using ’Strange’ all over my lid to set the primer. Then using my Zoeva Luxe Soft Crease Brush taking ‘Limit’ in my crease. I want a bit of depth to my eye so I am going to take ’Nooner’ and concentrate that on the outer part of my eye with the same Zoeva brush. Back into ‘Limit’ blending that through my crease again. I am then going to take my By Terry Ombre Blackstar in ‘Frozen Quartz’ and apply that all over my lid. Blending that out with a little bit of ‘Limit’ on the same Zoeva brush. For my under eye I am going to apply ‘Limit’ with my Zoeva Luxe Pencil Brush, and taking a little bit of ‘Frozen Quartz’ in the inner corner of my eye. To highlight my eye I am going to take my Bourjois Eyeshadow in ‘Originale’ using my Zoeva Luxe Petite Crease Brush, and applying that to my brow bone and inner corner of my eye. Then, for my lashes I am going to curl them and apply the Benefit They’re Real mascara to my top and bottom lashes.

To finish off this make up look I am going to apply my NYX Liquid Suede Liquid Lipstick in ‘Sandstorm’ to my lips. I wanted it to be a little lighter so I applied some of my Naked Skin Concealer to lighten my lips a little.

I hope you like this valentine make up look, let me know what you think and if you like blogs like this. Have a lovely rest of your day, Bye!
