Christmas Stocking Filler’s 2017

As Christmas is nearly here I thought I would share some quick and easy stocking fillers for your family and friends. Some of these are what I’m getting my family and friends as well. I’m going to share with you a couple for woman, a couple for men and a few unisex gift’s. Also check out my youtube channel hannahxoxoblog. I hope you enjoy!

Bath Gift Set:
I think a bath gift set is such a perfect, easy stocking filler. They aren’t that expensive and so many different brands do them. E.g. Body Shop, Lush, Baylis & Harding and so many more brands. The ones I picked are from Boots and one is a brand called ‘A Little Something’. Which has a body wash, body lotion, body butter and a fragrance mist within it. Another one I picked up was again from boots and the brand ‘Cath Kidson’. Which has a hand cream and lip balm within it.

Make Up Gift Set:
A make up gift set is perfect for anyone you know that loves make up. I think they are such a good idea as you can get little mini’s to try out new products and even new brands. The one I picked up is from Sleek. Inside is four Matte Me lip creams. Which I think is perfect has there is such a variety in colours.

Men Gift Set:
Again I think this is a perfect and easy stocking filler. I think it is similar to the women’s bath gift set, but mens products instead. Therefore, there are so many different brands and so many different price points. The ones I picked up are from Boots and its the brand ‘FCUK’. Inside is a hair & body wash and a body spray.

This stocking filler is for that handy man in your life. I picked this one up from the boots and its the brand ‘Gentlemen’s Hardware’. It’s a hammer, wire cutters, pilers, nail pull, saw blade, file, knife, flathead screwdriver, crosshead screwdriver and snippers all in one.

It’s such a simple and easy stocking filler but everyone needs sock’s. There are so many different ones out there. I picked some up from George in Asda and they were really inexpensive. I got some with different coloured reindeer’s on each pair. There are 5 pairs in a pack, and the pack was £6.

Jokey Games:
I think every stocking has to have something funny in it. Therefore a jokey game is perfect. Again there are so many different ones out there you just have to find them. The one I picked up was ‘Cards Against Humanity’. I think it’s just such funny game for adults and perfect for a stocking filler.

What I Got For Christmas 2016

have been very lucky this year for Christmas and I thought I would share with you guys what I got for Christmas (as I love reading these blogs myself). I thought I would also share with you guys what I got in my Feel Unique beauty calendar.

Make Up:
I love getting make up for Christmas. My mum and dad got me the Hoola bronzer, Rockateur blush, Benefit eyeshadow in Bikini Tini, Beauty Blender, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, Anastasia Brow Wiz, Too Faced Sweetheart blush and Real Techniques Core Collection . Casey (my boyfriend) got me Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette, a set of Ted Baker lipstick and nail polish. As well as a bottle that has nail polishes in.

Whenever someone asks me what I want for Christmas I always say clothes, a girl can never have enough clothes in their wardrobe (unless its overflowing of course). My mum and dad got me some clothes from New Look (I haven’t put all the clothes in the picture because I couldn’t fit them all in), and Casey got me my much loved Joni Jeans but in black.

Pamper Bath and Body Products:
Bath and body products are always a must for me at Christmas. My mum and dad got me a ted baker set with a perfume, body wash and body lotion, Pink Peppermint Candy Swirl Body Butter (smells amazing) which also comes with some cosy socks. Casey got me a Soap & Glory set which I love and a Ted Baker Soap (it’s actually surprisingly heavy).

I always get jewellery for my birthday and Christmas and I love it. My mum and dad got me a heart-shaped necklace. Casey got me some rose gold earrings from Pandora which I am in love with.

Fiorelli Handbag:
My dad was so kind enough to get a handbag. When dad was getting mum’s present in Debenhams I said that I liked the bag and he actually got it for me which is so lovely.

My mum and dad was so lovely and bought me a Two Night Hotel Break from a wide range of venues in the UK and Europe. So me and Casey may go on a little break somewhere in February.

Other bits and bobs:
My mum and dad got me the Friends box set, ThisWorks Dream to Sleep set, Faux Fur Slippers, Cosy Socks, Gloves and a little sign that says ‘all guest must be approved by the dog!’. My brother got me a little trinket box that is engraved and got photos on the side. Casey also got me a cute little Me to You Elf Bear because he knows I love Me to You.

I have never had a beauty calendar before so I was very excited to have one this year. I decided to chose the Feel Unique advent calendar because it wasn’t crazy expensive and seemed to have some really good products in there.

In the beauty calendar I received Roger & Gallet Gentle Shower Cream, Decleor BB Cream 24hr Moisture Activator, Palmer’s Coconut Oil Body Lotion, Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm, Olehenriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask, Balance Me Instant Lift Pore Minimiser, Nuxe Ultra-Nourishng Lip Balm, Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey, Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick in Best of the Best, Popband Santa Baby Has ties, Bourjois Cream-to-Powder Eyeshadow in Originale and Pur Correcting Primer.

When I bought this beauty calendar I received a 10% OFF when I buy something I received in the beauty calendar which I think is really cool. Therefore, I do plan on buying a full size of the Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm, just because I loved how it made my hair feel and look (also some of the other products I really liked was already full size).

Christmas Baking

I thought I would do some Christmas baking today as I was in the mood to do so. I like baking to be quite quick and easy so I have used a cupcake ready mix. I would definitely like to get into the habit of baking from scratch but that will be in the future.

I started of by pre-heat my oven to 180 degrees celsius/gas mark 4 and placing my Christmas cupcake cases into the baking tray. I poured the cupcake mix into a bowl with 1 medium egg and 60ml of semi-skimmed milk and whisked it together. Once it was all mixed up I placed it in the cupcake cases and put them in to oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. After they were ready to take out of the oven I let them cool down while I got the icing ready in a piping bag. It felt like it took the cupcakes ages to cool down but once they had I started to pipe the icing on top. Finally, adding sprinkle and little decorations to the top (I especially love the mini tree’s) the cupcake’s were finished! They were really quick and easy to do, as well as tasting amazing!

Festive Make up Look

As Christmas is just round the corner it is only just to right to do a festive make up look. I am going to start off my applying my Body Shop InstaBlur and apply my Bourjois City Radiance Foundation with my Real Techniques Complexion Sponge. I will then put some of my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer to hide my dark under eye circle’s. To highlight under my eyes I am going to use my Naked Skin Concealer, again blending that out with my Real Techniques Complexion Sponge. I will powder under my eye’s with my E.L.F. Under Eye Powder to set my concealer and help highlight my under eye’s. I will contour using my Sleek Contouring and Blush Palette. The brush I am going to use to contour is my E.L.F. Small Tapered Brush. For Blush I am going to use my Sleek Blush in ‘Pomegranate’ applying that with my Real Techniques Blush Brush. I am going to bronze by face up a little as it is winter and everyone is a little more pale. I am going to use my Body Shop Honey Bronze in ’05’. Finally for my face I want to have a suttle highlight so I am going to use the highlight out of my Sleek Contouring and Blush Palette.

On my brow’s I am going to define them with my Soap & Glory 2in1 Pencil and Brush. Then, I will fill them in with my Sleek Brow kit and set them in place with my Benefit Gimme Brow. For my eye’s I want to keep it very simple so I am going to apply my Urban Decay Primer Potion all over my eyelid and set that with ‘Strange’ from my Naked 3 Palette. I want it to be quite orange/brown as it will help to make my eye’s look even more blue. Therefore, I am actually going to use my Body Shop Honey Bronzer to blend through my crease. It’s a perfect brown/orange shade. From the same Naked 3 palette I am going to take ’Nooner’ and blend that through my crease as well. All over my lid I am going to use ‘Limit’ and highlight my inner corner of my eye with ‘Strange’. To finish off my eye’s I will curl my eyelashes and use my Benefit They’re Real mascara.

Onto my lips, I am going to line my lip’s with my Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in ‘Red Diva’. Once I have liner my lips I am going to apply my Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in ’01’. This colour is a gorgeous classic red and perfect for christmas time.

Finally I am going to set my face with the Urban Day All Nighter Setting Spray so my make up last’s.

Christmas Decorations

One of my favourite things about christmas time is decorating the house and putting up the christmas tree. Today I thought I would share with you how I decorate my bedroom in Christmas time.

A christmas tree is essential, even if you have a mini christmas tree. I have a mini christmas tree in my room and I have decorated it with silver and a touch of gold. I have actually decorated Casey’s room as well with the theme of red. I haven’t put tinsel on my tree as I quite like how it looks without. I have put a few random baubles on mine and Casey’s tree as I like how it looks. Again a stocking is essential. Me and Casey actually got ours from Home Bargains and you can personalise the top to spell out your name.

Fairy light’s are perfect for making your room look all cosy. I have actually put some around my window. I think it looks so cosy and you can see the lights from the outside. There is normally a choice of cool lights or warm lights and I have gone for a mixer as I really like them both. A candle is also another perfect way to make your room look even cosier. I have actually have a different candle thing from Yankee Candle. You put a tea light on the bottom and your chosen scent on top and the heat burns the wax, melting it and given off the scent. The wax thing I have chosen is in the scent ‘Cosy By The Fire’. I absolutely love these and are a great idea.

Putting tinsel around your house/bedroom is a lovely little touch to make your room that extra christmassy. I have put some red tinsel on Casey’s bed for an extra touch of christmas. Another extra touch is a hanging ‘Merry Christmas’. I have one in Casey’s room and I think its such a cute little extra thing. Obviously you must have some seasonal bedding. I have a tartan/checkered duvet set for my room, and I have gone a little more Christmassy with Casey’s bedding. Again red, with a white and grey throw (excuse the emoji pillow haha).

Christmas Lush Haul

The other day I decided to go to Ipswich and have a little look around. I did pop into Lush (obviously) and pick up a few bits. I thought I would share with you what I bought.

The first thing I picked up was ‘Never Mind the Ballistic’s’. I haven’t tried this bath bomb before so definitely wanted to try it out, especially as the pink side feels really weird. ‘Peeping Santa’ is another bubble bar which I have not tried and very eagar to (unfortunately one of his eyes fell off on the way home). ‘Luxury Lush Pud’ is a must have for me. I have had it a couple of times before and the colours it gives off is beautiful, as well as he smell. I have seen the ‘Shooting for the Stars’ bath bomb before but never tried it. Therefore, I had to pick it up this time. Another must have for me is ‘The Magic Wand Of Christmas’ I absolutely love the smell and it’s perfect because you can reuse it. I have never heard or seen the ‘So White’ bath bomb before, it smells lovely so I had to get it. That is everything I got from Lush a few of my favourite’s is also ‘Father Christmas’ and ‘Golden Wonder’ I would definitely try them out!
