October Favourite’s 2018

Time for another monthly favourites video. This months favourite’s are very autumnal and halloween oriantated. Also check out my youtube channel HannahxoxoBlog. I hope you enjoy!

Pull & Bear Fluffy Cardigan:                                                                                                     As the weather has been getting colder I have been loving this fluffy cardigan from pull and bear. It’s so super cosy and warm and goes with pretty much every outfit. I first saw this when BusyBeeCarys shared it in a haul and I fell in love with it straight away. Obviously I would 100% recommend it as well!

New Look:                                                                                                                                        I have recently done an Autumn Haul featuring quite a few things from New Look. Since then I have gone back into New Look and bought a few more pieces. I love there current Autumn clothing and is totally on trend at the moment. If you haven’t checkered out there Autumn clothing I would definitely recommend too!

Gordon’s Pink Gin:                                                                                                                   This month I have been loving pink gin. Normally my go to drink is vodka and orange juice but this month I have been loving pink gin and lemonade. It’s quite a sweet drink and tastes like juice. It can be quite dangerous, I warn you now. As you just drink it like juice and you don’t realise how drunk your getting till it hits you. Obviously I would only recommend this to 18 years and above.

Scaresvillle:                                                                                                                                  As October is the month of Halloween I have been doing a few halloweeny things like Scaresville. If you haven’t heard of Scaresville before it’s where you walk through different rooms, going inside and outside while actors jump out on you. This would be the third year I’ve been to Scaresville and I really enjoy it. They do change it slightly every year as well. I think its such a great night and I would highly recommend to do it if you are close by.

Zombie Fest:                                                                                                                          Another halloweeny thing I have down in October is Zombie Fest. Again if you don’t know what Zombie Fest is it’s a music festival. I haven’t been before but I really enjoyed myself and would 100% go next year. It was such a laugh and I had a really good time with all my friends. It was definitely something different and a new experience but I absolutely loved it.

Autumn Must Haves

Since it is now Autumn I thought its only right to do a Autumn Must-Haves blog.

Darker Lips:- I absolutely love darker lips in the autumn time since the weather is getting more colder and everyone is getting all cosy. Some of my favourite lipsticks in the autumn time are Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks in 30, NYX Liquid Lipstick in ’Sandstorm’ and ‘Cherry Skies’.

Cosy Jumpers:- Everyone has to have a cosy jumper as its getting a little cooler. I love having a warm jumper to be all cosy in, even when you are out and about.

Blushers:- When the weather gets a little colder and everyone starts to wrap up a bit more I think a deeper berry blush looks gorgeous. As long as you don’t go too over board with it and you look like you have just gone for a run. One of my favourite Autumn blushers are Sleek in ‘pomegranate’.

Candles:- Again as the weather is more cool everyone loves to get all cosy and snug, they perfect way to do this is by getting the candles out.

Skincare:- Most peoples skin does get more dry in the Autumn and Winter and I think skincare in key for this time of the year. You can’t go wrong with a good moisturiser. Some moisturisers I love and do my skin the world of good is Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Moisturiser and Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask.

Pyjamas:- After a long day and getting into your pj’s is the best. Nothing cosier than getting in your pyjamas on a cold autumn/winter evening. I always think you can get away with having disney pyjamas in the colder months.

Eyes:- I love doing more of a darker and more bold eye during the autumn and winter. Especially dark berry colours as well as brown’s. A few of my favourite eyeshadow’s to wear is ‘Exquisite’ from the Zoeva ‘En Taupe’ Palette, ’Nooner’, ‘Liar’, ‘Factory’ and ‘Mugshot’ from the Naked 3 Palette. I also love using my Body Shop Honey Bronze in ’05’ and blend it through my crease.

Nails:- Again dark berry shades are essential. So you have to have a dark berry/purple nail varnish. One of my favourite’s is Rimmel 60 Second’s Super Shine in ‘Black Cherries’.

Cosy Socks:- I don’t know about you but my feet and always cold in the colder months so I always have cosy socks on to keep my feet warm. And they are just perfect for a cosy night in.

Bath:- I love bath’s in autumn and winter to warm me up after a long day. The perfect product’s for the bath are from Lush. Especially ‘Intergalactic’ and ‘Frozen’.

Autumn Make up Look

As we are getting closer into autumn I thought I would do an inspired autumn make up look. First of all I’m going to prime my skin with my Body Shop Insta Blur and apply my Bourjois City Radiance foundation with my Real Techniques Complexion Sponge. Once my foundation is blended out I will apply my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer to cover my dark under eyes circles, then my Rimmel Match Perfection concealer to highlight under my eyes. To powder I’m going to use my E.L.F. Undereye Setting powder, which will also help to highlight under my eyes. To set that I will use my E.L.F. Small Tapered Brush.Afterwards I am gong to use the contour and highlight out of my Sleek Contouring and Blush Palette. For blush I am going to use a Sleek blush in Pomegranate. This blush is perfect for autumn time. The brush I am going to use it the Real Techniques Blush Brush. I am going to bronzer my face up a little more with my Body Shop Honey Bronze again with the same E.L.F. brush.

For my eyebrow’s I am going to use my Soap and Glory 2in1 Pencil and Brush to define my brow. Then, I will use my Sleek Brow kit to fill in the sparse area’s. To set my brow’s in place I am going to use my Benefit Gimme Brow. Onto my eyes. I am going to keep it relatively simple and easy. I am going to I am going to prep my eyelids with my Urban Decay Primer Potion and set that in place with my a shade called ’Stitch by Stitch’ from my Zoeva ‘En Taupe’palette. From the same palette I am going to take ‘Gallery’ and blend it through my crease building up the colour using my E.L.F. Crease Brush. I will then take ‘Exquisite’ an blend it through my crease and slightly building up the colour again using the same E.L.F. brush. Afterward’s I am going to take ‘Wrapped in Silk’ and apply it all over my lid. I will then blend out ‘Galley’ on my bottom lash line and take ‘Exquisite’ and smudge it out on the outer corner of my bottom lashes. To finish off the eyeshadow I am going to mix ’Spun Pearl’ and ‘Sheers & Voiles’ together and highlight my inner corner of my eye’s. To finish off the eye’s I am going to curl my eyelashes and the mascara I am going to use is my most loved Benefit They’re Real mascara.

For my lips I have two options, first one is going to be one of my much loved make up items, which is my Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in ’30’. This lipstick is a autumn must have, it’s such a perfect berry shade but isn’t too dark. The second option a little less bold, again much loved make up item my NYX liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in ’Sandstorm’. It’s a perfect day to day lip that will last all day and you won’t need to touch it up. I adore these two lip product’s.
