August Favourite’s 2018

Time for another monthly favourites video. This month I will be sharing with you what I have been loving throughout August. Again I have been trying out loads of beauty products throughout August so there are quite a few of random favourites this month. Also check out my youtube channel HannahxoxoBlog. I hope you enjoy!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, Hot Cloth Cleanser:
I have been using this product for a couple of years now but recently I have been using it religiously. I will use this to remove my make up and a daily face wash/cleanser. It’s so lovely and gently on my skin, its not harsh at all but still cleanses my skin perfectly. I am nearly running out of it so I will need to repurchase it again soon.

Dove Daily Moisture Conditioner:
I tried to purchase my normal dove conditioner which I have been loving for months. However, I couldn’t find the specific conditioner anywhere so I decided to pick up the Daily Moisturise conditioner instead. And I love it just as much as I do the other conditioner. I will 100% be repurchasing this and would 100% recommend it.

Aveda Smooth Infusion Nourishing Styling Creme:
I have loved this product for a few years now but this month I have been using this product religiously. Normally I like to mix up my hair styling product especially depending on how I want to style my hair. But throughout this month I have continuously been using this product. It reduce any frizz and makes my hair easier to manage. And again I would 100% recommend this product.

Maltesers Buttons:
I have always loved Maltesers and the Teasers chocolate bar. Therefore, I was very excited when I saw they had brought out Maltesers Buttons. I knew I was going to love them the minute I heard about them. And of course I do love them, they are chocolatey heaven in my eyes (ahaha). If you haven’t tried them you definitely need too.

Cactus Terrarium:
I went into my local garden centre the other week and I bought a few mini cactus’s, a glass holder and some small stones to make a little terrarium. And I absolutely love it. I love how it looks and I love cactus’ as they are easy to look after.

‘Everything Happens for a Reason’ Tattoo:
I live by the quote ‘everything happens for a reason’ and I have wanted to get a tattoo of it for a while now. And this month I finally did it. I wanted it to be spontaneous when I got it done and I didn’t know I was having it done till a few hours before. When my tattooist asked what font I wanted it in I wanted him to have some input within the tattoo so I said however you want. I am in love with the tattoo and I’m so glad I have finally got it done.

August GlossyBox 2018

This month’s Glossybox is Pride Edition. I love how bright and colourful the design of the box is. And I feel like the products inside the box really express pride, self love and to express yourself. Also check out my youtube channel HannahxoxoBlog. I hope you enjoy!

Rimmel London Ink Me Stamp & Sticker Tattoos:
I have seen these been advertised and on Love Island and I think they are really cool for festivals. Although, I don’t go to many festivals I don’t think I will use these that much. The stamp is very pigmented and the stickers have some very cool designs. The information card says ‘This duo from Rimmel’s Ink Me range is the prefect way to edge up your look!’ This is a full size product and retails for £4.99 for both of them.

Victoria Secret Pink Let’s Pre Glam Perfecting Sheet Mask:
I love a good sheet mask and I was very excited when I saw this inside this months box. I have never used one from Victoria Secret Pink either. The information card says ‘We’re feeling rainbow vibes with this nourishing sheet mask made for insta-complexion perfection. It hugs and contours like a second skin and is formulated with hyaluronic acid to help achieve a flawless base for your make up’. This is a full size product and retails for £5

Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam:
I have received something from this brand before in my glossy box and I love the packaging. I think this is such a cool product and have never seen anything similar to it. I am very eager to try this product out. The information card says ‘This multi-tasking lip and cheek jam is the key to getting a healthy, natural flush of colour that will last up to 10 hours!’ This is a full size product and retails for £17.50

Kaleido Cosmetics Astrolight Highlighter:
When I swatched this highlighter I was blow away how gorgeous and pigmented it was. I have never heard of this brand before but I am very eager to try this product out. The information card says ‘Be as subtle or vibrant as you fancy with this illuminating, 8-hour highlighter from the fun and fearless Kaleido Cosmetics. We love that its 100% cruelty free, vegan friendly and smells gorgeous too!’ This is a full size product and retails for £13

3INA The Shadow Paint 703:
I haven’t heard of this brand before and I have never used a product like it before either. The information card says ‘Blue eyeshadow is back! Vanessa Hudgens and Chloe Grace Moretz are just some celebrities rocking blue eye looks right now. We are loving this midnight blue cruelty-free eyeshadow from 3ina, a brand who encurage self-expression through make up’, This is a full size product and retails for £8.95

August Favourite’s 2017

It’s that time of month again, time for me to share with you what I have been loving throughout August.

Soap & Glory 2in1 Pencil & Brush:
I have loved this product before but I ran out of it and whenever I tried to repurchase it they wouldn’t have it in my shade ‘hot chocolate’. So, I decided to buy the shade darker ‘dark chocolate’ to see how it looks. The shade is a really good match actually and I have fallen back in love with it. I find it so easy and quick to fill in my brow’s.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer:
Again, I ran out of this product and forgot to repurchase it. This time I got a shade lighter than what I normally get so I can highlight and conceal my under eye’s. If you haven’t tried this concealer out I would definitely recommend to. The coverage is really good, it’s not drying under my eyes and it is really reasonably priced.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush:
Normally when I blend out my concealer I will either use my beauty blender or my Real Techniques Sponge. However, I have been very lazy with blending out my concealer and I find this brush blends it out so easy and quick. Normally when I blend my concealer out with a brush I find it loses some of the coverage. But I do not find that happens with this brush. I have fallen back in love with it.

Batiste 2in1 Invisible Dry Shampoo & Conditioner:
I recieved this in my Glossybox and I was so excited to try it out and I have fallen in love with it. I tend to use this on second day hair, when my hair isn’t greasy but its not the cleanest. It doesn’t have the white cast which a normal dry shampoo has. I also love the smell of it. When I run out of this I will definitely repurchase the full size.

Levi Top:
Ever since I bought this I have been wearing it non-stop. I bought it when I when shopping in Cambridge with Casey and I have fallen in love with it. I love wearing it with my khaki new look trousers, my black topshop joni jeans or some black leggings.

New Look Khaki Trouser’s:
I wasn’t too sure about these trousers when I first bought them, but I love them. I love wearing these with my Levi top tucked in and the ends rolled up. I find them so comfortable. I definitely want to buy some more trousers for day to day.

H&M Black Tight’s:
I was in the need of some new tights for work so when I went to Cambridge shopping I picked some up. I decided to pick some up from H&M as I haven’t tried their ones before. And I really like them. Around the waist it has a elastic support bit and I love it. I find they support my waist and stops them sliding down an me not having to pull them up all the time.

And that is everything I have been loving throughout August. Also check out my Youtube Channel hannahxoxoblog. I hope you enjoyed and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

August GlossyBox 2017

This month’s Glossybox is all about ‘girls just wanna have SUN’. I love the design of the box I think it is really cute. This box I think has some really good goodies!! It also has an extra little hair band in the box as well. I hope you enjoy!

Essence Live.Laugh.Celebrate! Palette:
I absolutely love this palette. I love the idea how you can mix and match what you want inside the palette, it’s super cheap as well. The four shades I received are; ’T.G.I.F.’ eyeshadow (which is a perfect crease shade), ‘It’s my birthday’ eyeshadow, ‘My special highlight’ which is a highlight (it’s very natural but you can build it up too make it more intense), and ‘Rhythm of the Night’ blush. The information card that comes with the box say’s ‘How often have you wanted to create your own make up palette? Now you can. Essence’s clever compact contains four slots so that you can mix and match your perfect combination from their ranges of shades’. This is a full size product and retails for £1.50 per palette and £1.50 per powder (which I think is very reasonably priced).

Model Launcher Safari Sun Bronzer:
I love trying out new bronzers so I was excited when I first saw this in the box. I like the idea of the pattern in the pan, I think it’s really cool. The information card say’s ‘Summer makeup isn’t complete without the perfect bronzer. This talc-free, mineral-enriched formula looks as good on skin as it does in the compact.’ This is a full size product and retails for £16.50 (I personally think it is a little expensive as the packaging does feel like a cheap plastic).

Malquer Ice Hair Mask, Total Repair:
I love trying out new hair masks so I’m excited to try this one out! It doesn’t have a strong scent, it’s a very simple and suttle scent. The card say’s ‘This one-of-a-kind energising hair mask has a cooling effect, which powers up the macadamia oil making it even better at hydrating and taming hair.’ It says to massage this product into my hair which I’m a little scared it will make my hair greasy as it is a mask. But it does say ‘ice hair mask’ so I’m not too sure how it will work out, but I’m excited to try it out. This is a sample size but the full size retails for £14.99

Batiste 2in1 Dry Shampoo & Conditioner Orange & Pomegranate:
I love Batiste products so I was super excited when I saw I received this in my box. When I spray it, it looks the same but doesn’t feel as heavy and seems like it won’t leave a white cast on my hair. I can’t wait to try this product out! It smells really good as well! The information card say’s ‘Rethink the way you use dry shampoo. This 2in1 combines dry shampoo with conditioner to refresh your roots while conditioning the lengths, making it particularly good for those with dry, coloured or curly hair.’ This is a sample size but the full size retails for £4.49

Radial Suede Lips:
We have received something from this brand before in one of our previous Glossybox’s. This is a lip crayon which I really like, I find them very quick and easy, perfect for day-to-day. I received the colour ‘big apple’ which is a slightly deep nude pink shade. The card say’s ‘Intense. Matte. Moisturising. This perfect summer lip shade contains hydrating vitamin E and the shape makes it easy to swipe on.’ This is a full size product and retails for £22 (Which I personally think is expensive for what it is).

And that is everything I received in my Glossybox this month. Also check out my Youtube channel hannahxoxoblog. I hope you enjoyed and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

July Favourite’s 2017

It’s the start of a new month, meaning a month favourites. I hope you enjoy!

fullsizeoutput_6a3Tarte Shape Tape Concealer:
I have recently bought a few Tarte make up product’s and I have fallen in love with everyone of them. I love the concealer because it has such good coverage and it’s not drying underneath my eyes at all. The size of the concealer is really good, as it is a little bigger than the normal concealer size.

Tarte Amazionian Clay Blush in ‘Exposed’:
I love how natural looking this blush is on my skin. I got the colour ‘Exposed’ and it’s such a beautiful pink nude shade. The packaging is so cute and feels really good quality. I’m definitely wanting to try out more shades of there blushes and I would definitely recommend the Tarte Amazionian Clay blushes.

IMG_6632Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara:
I love trying new mascara’s out, I can be quite picky with them as well. I find this mascara give me more volume and length but mainly volume. I do normally prefer length over volume but the days I would rather volume I do use this mascara. Again I love the packaging and I would definitely recommend this mascara.

Tarte Colour Splash Lipstick in ‘Rum Punch’:
I have fallen in love with this lipstick. It is the most perfect colour, its my lips but better kind of colour. It’s so moisturising and lovely on my lips. I will say it doesn’t last all day but I don’t mind re-applying throughout the day. It doesn’t look weird when it fades as well. I love the marble packaging as well, and it feels really good quality.

fullsizeoutput_6a2Toni&Guy Cleanse Shampoo for Damaged Hair:
I have never used a Toni&Guy shampoo before so I was eager to try this one out. I normally like clear shampoo’s not thick one’s but I do really like this one. It doesn’t make my hair feel greasy and I do really want to try more of there shampoo’s.

fullsizeoutput_6a4John Frieda Frizz Ease Original 6 Effects Serum:
I love using products to reduce frizz because my hair can get frizzy sometimes so I always use products on my hair when it’s wet. I only need to use two pumps of this so I think it’s going to last me a long time. I have used John Frieda Frizz Ease products before and I do really like them so I’m not surprised I like this one.

Love Island:
Throughout July I have been loving Love Island! It has ended now but as I am writing this blog I don’t know who has won it yet. I have been talking about it non stop to everyone I know and I’m so sad it will be finishing soon. If you haven’t watched it I would definitely say give it a go. I know some guys that love the show as well.

And that is everything I have been loving throughout July. Also check out my Youtube Channel ‘hannahxoxoblog’. I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

August Favourite’s

NYX Liquid Suede Creme Lipsticks:
I got two shades ‘Sandstone’ and ‘Cherry Skies’. I love the formula of these, they glide on my lips so smoothly and once they are dry they do not budge. The only thing I will say in ‘Cherry Skies’ is a little darker so it’s harder to apply, and if you do make a mistake and try to correct it you will make it worse, it does tend to go everywhere. But apart from that I would highly recommend them.

Real Techniques Blush Brush:
This brush is such a great multi useful brush. You can use it to powder your face, add blusher or bronze up your face a bit. It’s really nice and soft on the skin and the hairs don’t annoy me at all.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara:
I have heard a lot of people rave about this mascara so I thought I would go and buy it myself. I wasn’t so keen on it when I first used it but once it dried up slightly wasn’t so wet it was really good. This is definitely a lengthening mascara and doesn’t really give you a lot of volume, but I would rather length over volume in a mascara. You do have to be careful though as it can clump up.

TRESemme Perfectly Un-Done Shampoo:
I thought I would try out a different shampoo from TRESemme, It didn’t disappoint at all. It’s a lovely clear shampoo which cleanses my scalp but doesn’t weigh it down. After I shampoo and dry my hair I still have some bounce still at the roots. I was a bit cautious if it would make my scalp greasy more quickly but it didn’t which I love.

O.P.I Mini Nail Varnishes:
I thought these were so cute when I saw them and had to get them. I absolutely love O.P.I nail varnishes and fell in love with these pastel shades. I got these in a pack and the shades from left to right are ‘It’s in the Cloud’, ‘Stop I’m Blushing!’, It’s a Boy!’ and ‘This Cost Me a Mint’.

August GlossyBox

Hi guys! I have heard a lot about beauty subscription boxes and I have been interested in them for a while now. So, I thought I would subscribe to one. I choose Glossybox because I have heard quite a lot about them and it’s only £10 a month. I was really excited when the box was delivered in the mail, and I was very impressed by how much effort and care was taken into packaging up the box. The following are the things I received in my Glossybox this month.

Glossybox Zip-up Bag:
A girl can never have too many make-up bags. I always love when you buy a set of products and it comes with a make-up bag. I find them so handy, especially in your handbag. The retail price for this is £20. On the information card that comes with the box it says ’The monogrammed clutches, totes and baskets have graced the arms of Poppy Delevingne. Join the jet set with this mini monogrammed pochette, which has been exclusively designed for Glossybox to celebrate our birthday’.

MakeUp Academy Eyeshadow Palette:
I have never actually tried any make up form this brand before but, I was very surprised. I did some swatches of a few of the shades and they are so pigmented. I’m definitely going to be using this palette and this product was a full size. The retail price for this product is £4. The information card says ‘Each one is highly pigmented, offering twelve on trend eye colours that you can mix, match and blend in numerous ways to create any look you want’.

MudMasky Facial Detox Purifying Recovery Mask:
I was very excited when I saw this product as I am looking for a new face mask. I did put a little bit on the back of my hand and it feels really nice and not drying at all. I will be trying out this product and seeing how I get on with it. This product is a tester size, but the full size retails for £53 which I thought was quite expensive. Therefore, I do have high expectations for this product. The information card says the following ‘It’s formulated using all-natural ingredients and contains no parabens, but still managers to throughly detoxify skin. It doesn’t stop there though, it also refines and tightens pores, hydrates, brightens and smooths skin and generally gives it a boost’.

Spa To You Deep Pore Cleansing Facial Brush and Massager:
I was intrigued by this product at first because I thought it would be quite similar to my clarasonic. However, when I took it out of the packaging it was just a normal brush, nothing special. I’m not too excited for this brush but I will still give it a go. Again, this product is the full size and retails for £6.99. The information card says ‘The soft bristles are specially designed to help buff away dead skin cells for a deep but gentle facial cleanse. The combination of silky soft bristles and silicone cushions also help to massage the skin to improve microcirculation for renewal radiance’.

Cowshed Wild Cow Invigorating Body Lotion:
I always love trying out new products and I have never heard of this brand before so I really wanted to try it out. I did try a little bit out on the back of my and and it feels really nice. In the bottle there isn’t much of a smell to it. However, on the back of my hand it’s very fresh smelling but not too over powering. The smell reminds me of christmas with all the dried fruit as decorations. This is a tester size, and the full size retails for £20. Again, the information card says the following ‘As well as giving you an energy buzz with its boosting blends of Lemongrass, Ginger and Rosemary, this luxe body lotion deeply moisturises skin with Shea and Cocoa Butters’.
