Affect Transparent Loose Rice Powder with Matt-Effect:
I received this is in my glossybox and I was very eager to try it out. The main reason why I love this powder so much is the packing. It is a loose powder so normally they are really messy, but because there is a twist top it hardly makes as mess. This is a matt powder which I do prefer some days, especially in the Summer when I’m looking bit too shiny. I don’t have a matt powder in my make up collection as well so I do really appreciate having one now.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer:
I have recently been loving this combo to cover my dark circles under my eye’s. I watched a Sephora make up video on youtube about covering dark circles. Now I will start off by concealing under my eyes (Tarte Shape Tape Concealer) and then in the darkest area’s I will use a lighter concealer (Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer) tap it into my skin just in the darkest area not all under my eyes therefore, I will use a smaller brush (Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer Brush). I find it definitely helps more to cover my under eyes as well and it’s such good little make up trick.

Imperial Leather Foam Burst Luxurious Body Wash:
Again I received this in my glossybox and I fell in love with it. I haven’t seen any product like this before and I love how it foams up and it smells amazing. I am sad it is limited edition as well. I will say I am not a massive fan of the packaging ,as after you’ve used it the nozzle bit will foam up from the excess product. I have tried to clean away the excess product around the nozzle after using it but it still manages to foam up and look messy and dirty. However, I do still love this product.

Sure Shower Fresh Anti-Perspirant:
I picked this up when I was doing my weekly food shop. I find it a good anti-perspirant and does the job. The main reason I love this product is because of the smell. Normally I’m not too bothered by the smell of anti-perspirants. However, it smells really good and I have got so many compliments from it.

Krave:
I have re-fallen in love with the cereal ‘Krave’ recently. This is my go-to cereal in the morning (or anytime at that matter). I love the ‘milk chocolate’ and ‘hazelnut’ favours as well.

HP Sprocket:
I got this for Christmas and I have used it a little but recently I have been absolutely loving it! If you haven’t heard of a HP Sprocket it is a wireless printer which doesn’t use any ink. The pieces of paper it prints onto is also a sticker as well. I find it so quick and easy to printer any pictures straight from my phone. I have also done a collage using this printer with pictures of all my friends and family.

The Range:
I have recently had a new range open in my town and I had a look in there the other week and I found so many good little buys. I have been back multiple times as well. There is a cafe upstairs which is lovely and there is such a good range of products including furniture, home bits and bobs, pets and garden.

April GlossyBox 2018

This month’s Glossybox is taking inspiration from the past with old classic’s. Including the signature cat eye in the 50’s through to the bold lip n the 90’s. There are some really good goodies in this month’s box including some exclusive pieces. Also check out my youtube channel HannahxoxoBlog. I hope you enjoy!

Karl Lagerfeld + Model Co. Baked Blush in ‘Rose Beige’:
I love trying out new blushes so I was very excited to see this inside this months box. When I swatch the colour I would personally use it as a highlighter rather than a blush, just as it is very metallic. It is such a gorgeous shade none the less. The information card that comes inside the box says ‘From the bold and daring blush of the 80’s, to the natural look we’re sporting now, we’ve come a long way (thank goodness!). Say hello to this incredible baked blush that brightens and highlights every complexion to create a catwalk-inspired glow’. This is actually a Glossybox early exclusive. It doesn’t say when the release date is either. But it is very gorgeous and is a full size product.

GlossyBox Angled Brush:
I was very surprise when I saw Glossybox had bought out their own limited edition make up brush. I always love trying out new make up brushes and a angled brush always comes in handy. The information card says ’This angled brush, in our signature pink (of course) is the ideal tool to use on your lips, eyes or brows. Create bold brows or define the peaks & curves of your lips with the smooth yet firm bristles, enabling you to control and perfect your timeless look’. This is a full size product and is a Glossybox exclusive but it is with £5.50

Affect Cosmetics Matt Effect Transparent Loose Rice Powder:
I love using loose powders to set my make up in place, even though they are messy. I was very impressed when I saw the packaging has a twist top to reduce mess when using this powder. The information card says ‘Move over banana powder, there’s a new celebrity on the scene! Introducing… Rice Powder, a combination of mica and tie starch which gives a perfect matte finish’. This is a full size product and retails for £9.35

EyeKo London FAT Liquid Eyeliner:
I don’t normally where eyeliner that much as I don’t think it suits me, and when I do choose to wear it I will only apply it very thin. Therefore I wasn’t blown away when I saw this product inside this month box as it’s not a must have product for me. The information card says ‘Remember the BIG, BOLD lines that Brigette Bardot rocked in the 50’s, Twiggy in the 60’s and Kate in the 90’s? The ‘IT’ girls over the decades have shown us that a heavy liner never goes out of fashion’. This is a full size product and retails for £16

Imperial Leather Unicorn Marshmallow Foamburst (Limited Edition):
I love trying out new bath products and I was very excited when I saw this inside this months Glossybox. I have heard of this brand before and I do definitely like there product’s. I love the idea of this product as well. The information card says ‘Discover this limited edition magical body wash, infused with marshmallow extract (and unicron power) set to make you feel like you’re on top of a rainbow! We love the explosion of colours on the bottle – we cant’ help but think of Flashdance in the 80’s! Watch the gel change before your eyes into a creamy cloud that glides across your skin like silk, making your skin feel magically soft and sparkling clean.’ This is a full size product and retails for £3.15 (price may vary by retailer).

April Favourite’s 2017

Hi guys! It’s that time of the month again.. Another monthly favourite’s. I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I did typing it up.

IMG_6043
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation:
I wanted to try out a new foundation so I went into my local Boot’s and had a little look at some. And I spotted this one so I bought it and tried it out! I really like the finish of this foundation, it makes your skin look really nice and healthy (as the name say’s it does). The coverage is light-medium which I prefer in a foundation and I would definitely recommend it.

IMG_6044
RMCA No Color Powder:
I have heard a lot of people rave about this foundation so I thought I would try it out for myself. And I can see why everyone hype’s about it. It sets my make up perfectly and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin (which I have found some powders can do). The packing isn’t the best but it does hold a lot of the product which is good.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette:
I have wanted to try this product out for a while now and I have finally bought it. I love the smell of the palette, it does definitely smell like chocolate. The eye shadows blend like a dream and the pigmentation is really good. There is a good colour selection as well as you can do different but similar looks, which I really like. Again I would highly recommend.

IMG_6042
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash:
Recently Garner bought out a new Micellar Gel Wash. I love the original Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water so I was very excited when I saw this product was out. And I love it just as much as my Garner Micellar Water. When I get out the shower I will wash my face with water and massage this on my skin and around my eyes to remove my make up. Then rinse my face and pat dry and it takes my make up off so easily. I use it in a similar way to my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. I love this product and would definitely say to try it out!

Unani Illuminate Milk Cleanser:
I got this product in my Glossybox and didn’t really use it until recently. I find it perfect in the morning when I have woken up. As it is a milk cleanser it’s not too harsh on my skin, it’s nice, gentle and very refreshing. I use this every since morning now and I swear by it. I definitely would like to try out more milk cleansers by different brands, as I have never used one before now.

Mini Eggs:
As it’s easter there are Mini Eggs everywhere, and it’s reminded me how much I love them. It is a bit of a random favourite but I thought I would still share it with you since I have been loving Mini Eggs this month.

And that is everything I have been loving in April. Also check out my Youtube channel hannahxoxoblog. I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope to see you soon! Bye!

April GlossyBox

This month’s Glossybox had a few really good goodies, and as I normally do I thought I would share them with you.

IMG_5810Elgon DeliWash Cleansing Conditioner:
I am really interested by this product and eager to try it out. I have used a co-wash before and I wasn’t a massive fan of it but I am eager to try this one out. The information card that comes in the box say’s ‘Get ready to revolutionise your morning showers! Co-washes combine the cleansing action of a shampoo with the hydration of a conditioner in one quick-to-use product. With its ability to cleanse hair without stripping it, co-washing suits all hair types, but those with afro hair or corkscrews will find it enhances curls leaving them free from frizz.’ It doesn’t say if this isn’t a full size product but the full size does retail for £14.50

IMG_5811ModelCo Contour Stick:
I’m not going to lie I’m not a massive fan of contour sticks so I’m not too excited to try this product out, but I will defiantly try it out. The colour looks a little oranges as well. The information card say’s ‘This chunky contour crayon makes defining cheekbones both easy and precise, gliding over bare skin or foundation. Draw an angled line along the ‘hollow’ area directly below the cheekbones, then blend for soft definition’. This is a tester size and the full size retails for £17

IMG_5814Sport FX Definition Duo Eyeliner Pencil:
I think this is such a smart product as one side is black and the other is brown. Therefore you don’t have to get two different colour’s. I am very excited to try this product out. The information card say’s ‘Sport FX has been specially created to offer multi-use products that make quick turnarounds at the gym a reality. This dual-ended retractable pencil always stays sharp and features both black and brown eyeliner shades so you can create different looks (brunettes can also use it to define brows). This is a full size product and retails for £9.99

img_5812.jpgMerch Handy Love and Hand Cleansing Gel:
I have seen this product before but have never tried it out. I love how it is pocket size as well, perfect for my handbag. The information card say’s ‘on a daily commute anti-bacterial gel is a must-have. As well as being bacteria-busting, this pocket-sized bottle pf hand sanitiser leaves hands soft thanks to the tiny pearls, which burst on application to hydrate hands’. This again is a full size product and retails for £2.90, which I think is really good.

IMG_5813Radial Glamolash Mascara XXL:
I have received an eyepencil from this brand before in a GlossyBox and I have tried it once and I do like it so I have high hopes for this product. The wand looks a little big but still like it. The information card say’s ‘When it comes to our lashes we don’t want to hold back, which is why we love this mascara. If you want extreme everything then this is the mascara for you. The long-wear formula is jet black and leaves lashes supersized but soft’. This product is a tester but the full size does retail for £24

I hope you enjoyed reading and having a look on what I received in my GlossyBox. And I hope to see you soon! Bye!
