2018 Beauty Favourite’s

As 2018 has come to an end I thought I would recap on my favourite beauty products throughout 2018. I have found a few new product’s and stuck by a few of my favourite product’s as well. I hope you enjoy reading through what I product’s I have been loving throughout 2018.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer:                                                                                                             I discovered this product this year and I love it! The coverage is really good and lasts all day. I would 100% recommend this product. I must say I do really like the packaging as well, how big and chunky it is.

E.L.F. Baked Highlight in ‘Moonlight Pearl’:                                                                                                          I have absolutely fallen in love with this highlighter this year. I have used up a whole one and repurchased it. This highlighter is so perfect on a day-to-day basis. It’s not too powdery and has a really nice glow on the skin

Soap & Glory Archery 2in1 Pencil and Brush                                                                                                          I have used this eyebrow pencil for a long time now and I have gone through many and always repurchased it. It’s not too waxy and lasts all day. I would again 100% recommend the product.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water                                                                                                          Again I have used this product for a long time now. I love using micellar water’s to remove my make up as I find they remove it so easily. I especially love this one as it never stings my eyes and does such a good job of removing my make up.

Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser                                                                                                          I have loved and used this moisturiser for a long time now and I will forever keep using it. I am very eager to try out the ‘moisture surge’ collection for an eye cream. I would 100% recommend this moisturiser and I havent used one as good. It moisturises my skin perfectly without being thick and heavy. It is very lightweight and thin but is still very moisturising.

La Roche Posay Effeclar Duo                                                                                                          I have used this product for a couple of years now and it never fails me. It gets rid of any marks or scars from spots like a dream. it also helps any spots come to the surface as well. I don’t apply this all over my face only to specific area’s.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion                                                                                                          This is a product I have discovered in 2018 and I was very surprised by it. Whenever I have a spot that is underneath the skin or won’t come to the surface I will pop some of this on it with a cotton bud just before I go to bed. By the time I wake up in my morning it is half the original size and the redness has gone down. It is definitely a miracle product for me.

Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray                                                                                                          This is the finally product that I have discovered in 2018 that I have been loving. Whenever I want my hair mess and wavy naturally I will put this in while its wet and let my ahi air-dry. It reduces any frizz and makes my hair a nice wavy instead of a frizzy mess. It is quite expensive but it is definitely worth it for me.

Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019

I have had a lot of ups and downs throughout 2018. Last year I did the exact same blog and I really enjoyed it. Therefore, I thought I would do it again this year. Last year I set myself 5 goals to complete in 2018. These goals were 1. Move into a house instead of a flat, 2. Get back into hairdressing, 3. Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, 4. Save more money, 5. Travel. I did move out of my flat and moved into a house with my boyfriend. However, we have broken up and I am now living back in with my parents and I couldn’t be happier. I have got back into hairdressing as I am now doing it mobile on the side of my full time job. I have definitely got better at eating breakfast, lunch and dinner however I would like to eat a bit more healthier as well. Since I have moved back in with my parents I am finding I am saving a lot more money and dealing with my money better. I have done some travelling this year as well. I went to Corfu in September and Amsterdam in November. Therefore, I think I have accomplished most of y goals for the year.

Throughout 2019 I am going to set myself 5 more goals for the year. My first goal is to move to Australia. As some of you may or may not know I was born in Australia and moved to England when I was 5 and lived here ever since. I have always wanted to move back to Australia and I feel like this is the year to do it. My second goal is to travel more. Every year I travel to a few countries and I want to travel even more in 2019. My third goal is to eat healthier and start exercising. My job is quite active which I like but I would like to get a bit more toned. I also feel if I eat healthier than I will feel better within myself. My fourth goal is to again save more money. I will need as much money as I can save for when I move to Australia. My fifth and final goal is to be as happy as I can and make more memories with my friends and family.

My 21st Birthday:                                                                                                                     This month I turned 21 and I had two weeks off work and I had such a good birthday and such a good time off. I went to Amsterdam, went out clubbing in Norwich and London, had afternoon tea with my best friend, plus a lot more. I have written a blog on what I got up too if you would like to know. But a highlight of November definitely has to be my birthday so of course I had to include it in this month’s favourite’s.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion:                                                                                                        I have loved this stuff for a while now. But recently I’ve had a few more spots than usual. I have found this helps so much! I will pop this on at night just before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning the spot is half the size and isn’t so red and sore. If you haven’t tried this out I would definitely recommend you too!

Hollister Spray:                                                                                                                                         I received some hollister spray for my birthday and I have always loved hollister spray. I find it has a very distinct smell about it and whenever I wear it my friends always know exactly what I’m wearing. It’s always nice to be complimented on how you smell as well!

Pandora:                                                                                                                                           For my birthday I received a pandora ring and bracelet off my parents and I have fallen in love with them. I love pandora jewellery and I think it’s so pretty. I always wear it everyday and it’s a brand that I know is really good quality.

Vineyard Candles ‘Mojito’:                                                                                                              I recently went into my local garden centre and they sold these candles. I have never seen cocktail smelling candles before so I was very intrigued by them. I picked up the mojito candle as I love the smell of mojito’s. I have nearly burnt all of it already, it smells that good! I am definitely going back and getting some more.

Peaky Blinders on Netflix:                                                                                                            I have been binge watching Netflix recently and one show that I have watched is Peaky Blinders. I wasn’t so sure about it when I first started watching it but I continued to watch it as my friend was going on about how good it is. I soon fell in live with it and couldn’t stop watching it. It’s not a series that I would normally watch but I was so interested in it, especially since its set in the 1920’s. Again I would definitely recommend you to watch it.

Haunting of Hill House on Netflix:                                                                                    Another series I have been loving on Netflix is Haunting of Hill House. I love horror films and I knew this was like a horror series so I was very intrigued by it. It’s very interested but you need to concentrate when your watching it otherwise you will loose the story line. I would definitely recommend you watch it if you like horrors, otherwise if you don’t then I don’t think you will like this. The last episode did creep me out a little but apart from that I didn’t find it too scary.

My 21st Birthday Week

I have recently turned 21 and for my birthday I had two weeks off work. Within them two weeks I had a lot planned and of course I thought I would share with you what I got up too. My birthday weeks started on Saturday 3rd November and went to the Friday 16th November. My birthday was on the 13th November as well. IMG_3375IMG_3383IMG_E3384fullsizeoutput_807Saturday 3rd November:                                                                                                               I started off my two weeks off by going out in Norwich clubbing with my brother, sister-in-law and one of my best friends Harry. During the day it was quite chilled, I went to Elveden and had lunch with my mum and dad. Then got ready in the evening and heading out to Norwich. I love having a night out in Norwich its always such a good night. There was many drinks and shots that night.

Sunday 4th November:                                                                                                             The next day I was feeling a bit worse for wear and I was going to Amsterdam tomorrow. Therefore, I tried to sleep as much as I could as we had an early flight. I did manage to pack my suitcase ready for my trip, have a shower and get ready for tomorrow.

IMG_3394IMG_3396IMG_3410IMG_3413IMG_3451Monday 5th November:                                                                                                       Today was the day we were going to Amsterdam. Our flight wasn’t until later so we did have another little look around Amsterdam, and had lunch in the cute Crepes and Waffles place again. Just before we went home we did go to our favourite little coffee shop one last time before heading home.
