This month’s Glossybox is for getting ready for summer. And I have been subscribed to GlossyBox for a year now so they sent me a little card in my box saying ‘Thank you’ as well as a little notebook.
Bellapierre Cosmetic’s Banana Setting Powder:
I haven’t tried a banana powder before so I am excited to try this on out. It does seem very thin and dusty just by first impression’s. The information card that comes with the box say’s ’This banana setting powder has a yellow hue that helps to counteract redness, discolouration, blemishes and dark circles in paler skin tones and creates beautiful highlights against olive and dark skin’. This is a full size product and retails for £25.
Spectrum Collection’s Small Fan – A10:
I don’t own a fan brush so I am excited to try this out and see how well it applies highlight. I have heard of this brand before as well. The information card say’s ‘Spectrum’s best-selling small fan brush is perfect for applying setting powder or highlighter thanks to its premium cruelty-free synthetic bristles’. Personally I would only use this brush for highlighter not setting powder as well. This brush is a full size and retail’s for £4.99
Monu Professional Skincare, MONUspa Soothing After Sun Lotion:
I love how this product has aloe vera in it as I love aloe vera. It feels very light and thin which I really like for summer time. The card say’s ‘With the most active form of soothing aloe vera as well as vitamin E and shea butter, this luxurious after sun cools, hydrates and helps to calm sunned-out skin’. This product is a sample size but the full size retails for £19.95
Cute Balms Macaroon Ting Balm in ‘Crushed Berry’:
I think the packaging on this product is so cute, and I absolutely love macaroons. I think it is a smart idea how it is a lip bam as well cheek tint. Although personally I would only use it as a lip balm. It smells really good as well. The information card say’s ‘It’s pretty, does double duty as a lip and cheek colour and smells good too’. This is a full size product and retails for £5.99
Papanga Spiral Hairbrands:
I have tried hairbands like these ones before and I really like them. Although these ones seem a little more thicker than the ones I have. The card say’s ‘Hair can damage and fray when you secure it with tight elastic hair bands. Not so with these spiral alternative, which hold hair while preventing breakage and split ends’. There are two hairbands that come in a pack and retails for £4.99
