This month’s Glossybox was in partnership with a charity called ‘Give and Makeup’. The information charity card say’s ‘Women who have fled domestic violence arrive in shelters with hope for their future but not much else. Give and Makeup can help you help them and put everyday essentials into the hands of women who need them the most.’ I will have a picture of the details so if you would like to send them anything than you can. Glossybox have also put in a gift thing and a 20% off everything at Miss Guided which is brilliant. Thank you very much. I really liked this month’s Glossybox. I think there is a good range of products and all of the products are full size, which is amazing.
MDMFlow Semi-Matte Lipstick in Vamp:
I haven’t heard of this brand before but the packaging is cool, its like a bullet. I have tried it on once and I really like the formula as well as the colour. The information card says ‘The range of lipsticks and mascaras is inspired by hip hop and formulated using the latest colour and skincare technology, meaning it feels as good as it looks.’ This is a full size product and retails for £18.
Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette:
I have used this brand before and really like it. I’m not a massive fan of the nude highlight (left) and golden beige highlight (right) colour but I do really like the rose highlighter (middle) colour. I will definitely try all the colours out though. The information card say’s ‘Each of the three powders have varying degrees of highlight, from a light pearl to a golden glow, giving you the versatility to go from day to night.’ Again a full size product which retails for £3, which is really good.
Collection Cosmetics Define & Perfect Eyebrows Powder:
I really like this brand so was excited to try something new out. I have used it once and its so cool. The applicator is as if it’s a liquid but its not, it’s a powder and it looks so natural on my eyebrows. The information card says ‘This powder contains tiny fibres to add instant volume to brows and the fine-tipped nib allows you to create natural hair-like strokes.’ This is also a full size product and retails for £4.19 which again is really good.
I haven’t heard of anything like this before so I was very intrigued by it. I quickly used it once and it kind of stings my lips a little and once it dries I can 100% feel it on my lips, which I don’t really like it. The information card says ‘Lipcote is the seventy-year-old all-natural lipstick sealer that is still unbeatable at keeping lipstick fresh, despite cocktail-fuelled Christmas cheer.’ Again a full size product which retails for £3.99.
Revlon Nail Enamel in Valentine:
I do really like this brand and have tried their nail varnishes before and I really like them. I think a red shade is perfect for Christmas time. The information card says ‘Revlon nail colours are iconic and deliver an ultra smooth, ultra glossy finish. It isn’t just chip resistant, its chip defiant so you can admire 10 days of lasting colour and shine.’ Finally, this product is full size and retails for £6.49.
