This month’s Glossybox was put together by Estee Lalonde, beauty and lifestyle vlogger. I have watched a few of her video’s on YouTube, she seems so kind and lovely. This month’s box actually came with 6 product’s, 4 being full size, a discount code to Hello Fresh and a sneak peek to November’s box. GlossyBox have collaborated with Wendy Rowe to put together a limited edition GlossyBox for November, including luxury skincare and make up for £35.
A New Hair Hero:
This shampoo smells really good, it is a thick creamy shampoo though. Normally I do prefer a clear shampoo but I will defiantly give this one a go. It say’s on the information card ‘This shampoo has graced my bathroom shelves for years and now, this classic bestseller has had an update. It’s still unbeatable at caring for the scalp, but will also protect the health of hair and keep it nourished and shiny’.
Trifle Cosmetics Lip Parfait – Buttery Lip Cream:
The packaging for this product is adorable and so unique. The outside of the packaging is cardboard and then when you take of the lid its plastic inside. A girl can never have enough lip product’s. On the information card it say’s ‘This pretty nude shade is infused with vitamin E to keep lips plumped and hydrated and the pigments are silicone-coated so it won’t dull or become feathery-looking. Glide it straight onto lips for a creamy matte finish.’ This product is a fun size and retails of £12.95
PS…Pro Longwear Lip Liner:
I was very interested when I saw this as it is a lip liner but the tip of it is like a pen. The shade I received is ‘Midnight Crimson’ which would go perfectly with my Kate Moss lipstick in ’30’. The information card say’s ‘This felt tip-style liner has been specially designed to smooth over the contours of your lips, for a seamless finish!’. This product is again a full size and retails for £3 which is really good and inexpensive.
Universal Beauty Secret Flush, Smoothing Cream Blush & Lip Stain Duo:
I have seen products similar to this and I have never been to keen on how you apply them but I will give it a go and see how it is. On the information card it say’s ‘A multi-tacker that should be tucker inside every handbag. Smile and blend this onto the apples of your cheeks and the innovative formula will create a subtle flush of colour – or glide it onto your lips for a pretty dash of pink’ The colour I received is ‘Nectar’ which is a full size product and retails for £15
Bee Good Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator:
I am very excited to try this product out as it is an exfoliater and it says on the bottle it is made form British bee’s. I am looking for a new exfoliator as well. On the information card it say’s ‘This mask ticks a trio of boxes; exfoliating, hydrating and skin calming. Lavender gently lifts and exfoliates dulling dead skin cells without irritating, wheatgerm oil soothes and moisturises while British propolis helps balance problematic complexions’. This is a full size product (seems a little small to be a full size exfoliating product) and retails for £10.50
The Ritual of Sakura Body Cream:
I haven’t heard of this brand before so am excited to try it out. I did put some on the back of my hand and it does feel quick thick and moisturising. The information card say’s ‘Rituals best-selling whipped body cream is rich, velvety and deeply nourishing – you’ll see the difference after just a few days’. This product is a tester but, a good size tester. The full size product retails for £l6 which I think is really good.
