Hi guys! Today I thought I would do a slightly different blog, I thought I would share with you my go-to hairstyles that I find are so quick and easy to do. For each of these hairstyles I have straightened my hair (as my hair does have a slight wavy to it). Styling products that I use on dry hair are TRESemme Instant Refresh Cleansing Dry Shampoo and TRESemme Salon Touchable Feel Ultra Fine Hairspray. When my hair is freshly washed there isn’t much grip to it so I will use dry shampoo to help that and a bit of hairspray to hold the look.

Half Up, Half Down:
This is the hairstyle I do most day’s to work, I find it’s the easiest and the quickest to do. All you have to do is take half of your hair up to the crown of your head with your fingers, take out any bits of hair that you want out. Then, brush the hair up to the ponytail and secure it with a band. I put a small clip behind my ponytail to give a bit of extra lift.

Bun:
For this hairstyle you can use a donut ring if not you can do a normal bun. I find using a donut ring they are easier and look more professional, but it depends on what look you want to achieve. But today I will be using a donut ring. Simply, brush all your hair up to a high ponytail and secure it with a band. Take your donut ring and pull your ponytail through. brush your hair so its spread around the ring and put a band around to secure the hair in place. The access hair you can tuck into the bun and secure in place with a hair grip. Finally, hairspray any fly away hairs.

French Plaits:
This is a little more of a complicated hairstyle but once you get the hang of it, its easy. Just split your hair down into two separate sections. On one section start at the top and pick up a little bit of hair, split it into three and plait them over each other (under if you want to do a dutch plait). Remember to pick up a sections of hair from each side as you work your way down to the nape of your head. Finish the plait of by securing it at the end with a band. Repeat the same process on the other side of your hair. You can make this hairstyle as messy or as neat as you wish.

Ponytail:
Again this hairstyle is really easy and simple to do, but I love to do it when I’m at work and don’t really want to do much to my hair. You can either wear this messy or neat it’s entirely up to you. To achieve this look all you need to do is brush your hair up into a ponytail. You can make the ponytail high or low depending on how you want it too look. As you can see in the pictures I have achieved two looks with this hairstyle. First look being a neat high ponytail, and the second with a side parting going back into a lower ponytail but still above the nape of my head.

Plait Ponytail:
For this hairstyle you will need to take a top box on the top of your head. Then, french or dutch plait it back starting from your hairline working your way back to your crown. Once you have done that and secured it in place with a band, with your excess hair brush your hair up into a high ponytail including the plait you have just done. Just finish it off with some hairspray.
